Presidents Report

Hannah Bott who attended NYSF in January was our speaker last week thanks Hannah you really took us

through your two weeks there particularly her experiences in the engineering area. We were so pleased that

you were able to go and experience what we feel is one of our best Rotary programs for young people. See

photo.

Thanks to Doug who has surveyed where we might meet from now on and we agreed that it would be the

Best Western commencing next week meeting first then a meal after for those who wish it.

Thanks to Tim and Doug for moving our cupboard from Hotel Queanbeyan this has required a bit of effort

because it was moved to the first floor when the building works were happening!

Our Rotary Shop in the Riverside Plaza has been able to find another person to share the load they

welcome Chris to their band.

This week we are meeting at the Diamond Restaurant at Karabar to wish Joan Macdonald well on her way to

the coastplease note she is retiring from work - not from Rotary. Joan will find a new club down the coast

when she settles in.

Building and how to attract New and Effective Members

Session 3 covers: International Service and making connections around the world, Effective Leadership

Strategies, Exploring opportunities for personal, community and professional growth and development, Public

Image & Public Relations, Undertaking meaningful Vocational Service Activities, and finally, Making a Difference

using your own experience and growth through RLI to help improve the path for others to follow.
