Lesson 5 – you build up to writing a set of instructions –
Have a go at the spelling test task too as these
spellings derive from rules on the Year 5/6 word list.
It is important you complete the reading tasks prior to the writing task
as you are asked to write a set of instructions to capture the outlandish
creatures in the text you will have read.
PLEASE send these in perhaps draw illustrations too so we can publish these
on our home learning photo tab and give to Mr Duncan for display back in
school! BE CREATVE!
Reading at home We would like you to continue to read
and/or listen to a story daily. Aim for at least 20-30 minutes. Try and start a new
book you have at home or re-read a book. Then design a quiz about your book. Refer to week 1 week’s page for additional links to support and add variety to this. Check
accelerated reader to see if there is a quiz for you to do online?
