Welcome back Primary 7. We hope you had a good Easter Holidays and that you were able to relax and enjoy quality family time. Back to work now!Literacy Activity - WRITINGLearning Intention (What we are learning today)

Success Criteria (How can I show that I have learned and understood)

OLI – To write a recount about the Easter Holidays.

Write in the first person (I not he/she) Ensure capital letters, punctuation

and paragraphs are used. Include adjectives to express

emotions and feelings.Explanation of activity  Suggested Resources As these are unusual times for us all, we want you to take some time to reflect on the Easter holidays on ‘Lockdown’. Think of this task as a time capsule activity- something you can look back on when you’re old and grey.

You can choose whether you write this in your jotter, type it directly on to OneNote or send it to your teacher as a word document.

Here are some topics you could cover:- favourite day of the holidays- new hobbies you’ve discovered- TV shows or films you’ve enjoyed- books or comics you’ve read- family members you’ve contacted- daily exercise you’ve taken- games you’ve played (or created!)

This is a reflection task so please ensure you include your feelings, not just a list of tasks. Try to write at least 2 paragraphs.

Check out the website below if you need more questions to help you write:https://www.familysearch.org/discovery/activities/about_me/10?ref=/

If you want to extend the task, why not try these:

Maths Activity – Time Learning Intention (What we are learning today)

Success Criteria (How can I show that I have learned and understood)

OLI – To apply my knowledge of time to answer assessment questions.

Read the questions carefully. Identify the operation you will

need. Note down working if you need to. Think of a reasonable estimate for

your answer to check it looks about right.

Explanation of activity  Suggested Resources

Before the Easter Holidays we were looking at timetables and measuring time. To conclude this topic, we would like you to try the outcome assessments shared in Files. There are 3 different papers and there is no expectation to do them all. We will leave that up to you.

Answers will be posted in a separate document so mark your work afterwards.

You may find it helpful to use a watch or digital clock to help you with some of the answers. Here are some revision clips too if you need a reminder.https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/topics/zkfycdm

Please remember that you don’t need to answer all of the questions. Just do what you can!

more if you want to) Cut and decorate a piece of cardboard from a box and stick the tubes to it. Decorate the bas

Spicy Begin by cutting one of your toilet roll tubes into two (mark a line about 6cm

cut in a straight line or at an angle). You have 3 tubes now – a full size, a medium and a small one.
