1. Installation of OneNote (1) Go to the OneNote website: https://www.onenote.com/ (2) Download the software

The website will choose the suitable version that caters to your device’s system (Windows/Apple/Android/Web)

(3) Install the software and open OneNote Sign in if you have a Microsoft account

Create a new account if you don’t have a Microsoft account

2. Hierarchy of OneNote A OneNote notebook is organized into notebook, sections and pages. A OneNote notebook never runs out of pages and space, and you can add as many sections as you want. (1) Create a notebook

Upon entering, you’ll see in the left-hand menu your first “Notebook”, which will be named automatically according to the account you are using to launch the program.Notebooks are for big things, like home, school, and work.

(2) Create a section In Windows system

In Mac system To create a new section in the current notebook, click the plus sign (+) next to the section tabs, or click File > New Section on the menu bar.

(3) Create a page To create a new page in the current section of your notebook simply click (+) Add Page over the page tabs, or click File > New Page on the menu bar.

3. Personalize the OneNote

OneNote provides many ways to take notes—typing, writing, drawing, sketching, speaking, copying, and so on. On a touch-capable device, you can also handwrite notes.

(3) Record audio Use OneNote to record meetings, conference calls, classes, interviews, brainstorm sessions, personal journals, etc. Any notes you type while recording are synchronized to the audio. If you can’t remember exactly what the instructor or presenter said, just go to the note and listen again. In Windows system

In Mac system Click insert>Audio recoding

Click and play the audio to take notes

(4) Create to-do list

Click home> to do button

whenever you finish certain task, click the button and change “to-do” to “finished” state
