Alain Vigneault, 48, is the 16th Head Coach in franchise history after being named to the position on June 20, 2006. In 2008-09, Vigneaultcollected his 200th win as a head coach in the NHL and 100th win behind the bench of the Canucks. Vigneault led Vancouver to its sixthNorthwest Division title in franchise history, his second in three years, and a record of 45-27-10.
