Alain Vigneault, 50, is the 16th Head Coach in franchise history. After being named to the position on June 20, 2006, he has led the Canucks toa Northwest Division title and postseason berth four times in five seasons with the club and won the Jack Adams Award as NHL Coach of theYear in 2007. LAST GAME: BLACKHAWKS 6, Oilers 3 - Nov. 13, 2011 - United Center The Blackhawks equalled a season-high with six goals in a 6-3 win over the Edmonton Oilers on Sunday evening at the United Center. JONATHAN TOEWS (2), STEVE MONTADOR (2), DUNCAN KEITH and DANIEL CARCILLO scored for the home team. RyanSmyth, Jordan Eberle and Shawn Horcoff tallied for the visitors. COREY CRAWFORD stopped 20-of-23 shots in the win. Nikolai Khabibulin turned aside 29-of-34 for the Oilers. The Blackhawks went 1-for-4 (5 shots, 7:29) on the power-play. Edmonton was 1-for-3 (3 shots, 4:53) with the man-advantage. STATUS UPDATE The Blackhawks have captured an NHL-high 25 points (11-4-3) entering Wednesday's game in Vancouver. Chicago's 11-4-3 start is the club's best record after 18 games since posting an identical 11-4-3 mark at the start of the 2001-02season. The last time the Blackhawks captured more than 25 points in their first 18 contests was 1982-83 when they went 11-2-5 (27pts).

 THE MAN WITH THE PLAN JOEL QUENNEVILLE enters tonight's game against the Canucks with 149 career regular-season wins behind the bench for theBlackhawks. He sits fifth on the franchise's all-time leaderboard, four wins behind Mike Keenan (153). QUENNEVILLE'S .643 regular-season point percentage (149-76-31) at the helm is the best in Chicago franchise history.  THE FULL MONTY STEVE MONTADOR recorded the first multi-goal outing of his 10-year National Hockey League career in Sunday's 6-3 win overEdmonton. The Vancouver native now has three goals and four points (3G, A) in his last three contests. MONTADOR has notched two power-play goals in his last three tilts. He had previously potted two PPG in the first 534 NHL regular-season games of his career, both of which came during the 2007-08 season with Florida. Each of MONTADOR'S power-play markers last week were assisted by DUNCAN KEITH and NICK LEDDY.  Prior to that, the lastBlackhawks goal that generated points for three defensemen came on April 8, 2009 (SEABROOK from Campbell, KEITH).

 BOSS HOSSMARIAN HOSSA tallied a pair of primary assists on Sunday for his second consecutive multi-point game, and his fifth of the year.  KANE IS ABLEPATRICK KANE recorded a pair of primary assists in Sunday's win over Edmonton and has now tallied 11 points (4G, 7A) over hislast seven games. KANE'S second helper on Sunday night came on Chicago's league-leading fifth empty-net goal of the 2011-12 season. KANE shares tenth in the NHL with a team-high 19 points (6G, 13A) in 18 games, and his 13 assists are tied for eighth in the league. The Blackhawks are 4-0-1 this season when KANE delivers a multi-point effort and, over the course of his NHL career, the team is 64-8-11 on nights he registers two or more points. KANE has averaged 1.10 points-per-game (23G, 41A, 58 games) in his career in November, his most prolific month historically. Since 1990, only three players in the NHL have posted more points than KANE before turning 23 (Crosby, Jagr, Lindros [327]). TheBuffalo native (109G, 213A) will turn 23 on Nov. 19.

 LEDD ZEPPELLIN 20-year old defenseman NICK LEDDY collected a pair of assists on Sunday against the Oilers, his second multi-point game in the lastthree contests and third of the season overall.
