UNIVERSITY OF ZIMBABWE UNIVERSITY OF ZIMBABWE NURTURES FUTURE GLOBAL LEADERS Africa as well as Solutions Summit on Entrepreneurship to be held from 30 April to 5 May 2017 in Durban, South Africa. Simbarashe is joining 49 other young leaders to shape the voice of Africa’s youth in this pivotal event that is focusing on accelerating achievement of Inclusive Growth in Africa. Issues to be deliberated on include promoting market integration on the continent through the creation of industrial corridors and capitalising on the young generation in order to optimize the benefits of Africa’s “Fourth Industrial Revolution”. World Economic Forum (WEF) is an International Organization for Public- Private Cooperation which is committed to improving the state of the world. The Forum engages the foremost political, business and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas. Our representative to the 2017 World Economic Forum on Africa, Simbarashe Moyo is a highly accomplished young scholar and academic. He is a social worker by profession currently studying for his Master of Social Work and concurrently serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the UZ. His leadership track, diligence and quest for excellence is an inspiration to many. As Director of Fresh In Ethics Campaign for Business Ethics and sound Corporate Governance he led the UZ ENACTUS team to its first victory at Simbarashe Moyo at the 2015 UZ Vice Chancellor’s, Ambassador Award Ceremony The University of Zimbabwe (UZ) is undoubtedly committed to grooming and churning out highly competitive and responsible global citizens who enable sustainable progress and achieve internationally visible and recognized impact. the National Championships for DeltaEthics and Transparency Initiative. In 2014he led ENACTUS University of Zimbabwe tovictory at the ENACTUS nationalChampionships on social entrepreneurshipand went on to represent University ofZimbabwe and the country at large at theENACTUS World Championships in Beijing,China. In 2015 he received the ViceChancellor’s Ambassador Award - thehighest accolade given to UZ’s mostoutstanding student in community serviceand leadership in each year. In the sameyear he also received 5 other accoladesincluding Spirit of Voluntary Service Award,Effective Communication Award and BestPeer Counsellor of the Year Award. Inaddition, he launched two ToastmastersGavel Clubs for the University MainCampus and the UZ’s College of HealthSciences Campus in the interest ofenhancing students’ ability tocommunicate effectively. In 2016Simbarashe represented Zimbabwe at the

Yenching Global Symposium on China’srelations with the rest of the world. Hisachievements, work ethic and sense ofdiscipline enable him to serve as aneffective mentor to University students. Heis also a source of critical networks for thesuccess of the University’s Department ofSocial Work initiatives like the SustainableDevelopment Series. Currently, Simbarasheis the Programmes Director of GlobalShapers Community, Harare Hub and theVice President for Community at JuniorChamber International (Capital) where heis the reigning national public speakingchampion.

From 1 May to 5 May Simbarashe Moyo willbe rubbing shoulders with some of theworld’s top political, business and civilsociety leaders who include Nigeria’sbusiness mogul, Aliko Dangote (Presidentand Chief Executive-Dangote Industries),Yonov Frederick Agah (Deputy Director-General World Trade Organisation);
