Age Quick Reference
About The Salvation ArmyThe Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian
Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is
to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.
Nearly 33 million Americans receive assistance from The Salvation Army each year
through a wide array of social services that range from providing food for the
hungry, relief for disaster victims, assistance for the disabled, outreach to the
elderly and ill, clothing and shelter to the homeless and opportunities for
underprivileged children. About 83 cents of every dollar raised is used to support
those services in nearly 9,000 communities nationwide.
For services, donations, and other information, visit www.salvationarmyusa.org.

A place that feels like home.
A celebration of life & community. At Kroc Church, we don’t gather to put on a show or impress one
another. We strive to be honest about who we are, and our goal is to
simply glorify God with our lives; it is the grace of God that motivates us.
We hope to point our community to Jesus.
Kroc Church is simply a group of people with a common desire to follow and love Jesus. Being
part of The Salvation Army Kroc Center allows us a number of different ways to create commu-
nity. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you find yourself in life, if you want to get closer to
Jesus and you want to build Christian community, we
would love to have you join us.
