Aerosol Cage - TDG Stowmarket When a major third party logistics company wanted to create an aerosol containment store within their existing Pallet Racking system they called our Project Sales Manager – Lance Merryweather. Listening to their requirements Lance advised that the best solution would be an all 25mm x 25mm steel mesh partition system. Two partition walls would be constructed to a height of over 10 meters between two double entry runs of Pallet Racking and one partition wall would be constructed along the front to form an enclosure, with the building acting as the forth side. The screens would be cut to suit the buildings ceiling profile. Fitted with 2no 1,000mm wide single side hung doors each fitted with break glass bolts. Racking Frames/uprights along these runs would be extended to the full overall height of the roof shape to enable the top lift of standoff brackets to be bolted in position. Lance also suggested a self closing sliding Door sliding door for fork-lift truck entry/exit fitted with a simple counter balance and cable mechanism to operate in a self closing manner when activated by the fire alarm. The project was ordered and materials including racking materials to extend supporting uprights were delivered with a short lead-time. The project was completed in two weeks to the complete satisfaction of the customer.

Aerosol Cage - TDG Stowmarket

When a major third party logistics

company wanted to create an aerosol

containment store within their existing

Pallet Racking system they called our

Project Sales Manager – Lance

Merryweather.

Listening to their requirements Lance

advised that the best solution would be an

all 25mm x 25mm steel mesh partition

system. Two partition walls would be

constructed to a height of over 10 meters

between two double entry runs of Pallet

Racking and one partition wall would be

constructed along the front to form an

enclosure, with the building acting as the

forth side. The screens would be cut to

suit the buildings ceiling profile. Fitted with 2no 1,000mm wide single side hung doors each fitted with

break glass bolts. Racking Frames/uprights along these runs would be extended to the full overall height of

the roof shape to enable the top lift of standoff brackets to be bolted in position.

Lance also suggested a self closing sliding

Door sliding door for fork-lift truck

entry/exit fitted with a simple counter

balance and cable mechanism to operate

in a self closing manner when activated

by the fire alarm.

The project was ordered and materials

including racking materials to extend

supporting uprights were delivered with

a short lead-time. The project was

completed in two weeks to the complete

satisfaction of the customer.
