Come and visit our transformed Museum andPark during its 60th anniversary celebrations.As well as a fantastic outdoor play area, redesigned Museum,Victorian Street and new Victorian Garden, we have a host ofentertaining events for everyone this Spring and Summer.Our Made with Pride exhibition, 2 April – 30 June tells the story of Stockton’sweird and wonderful furniture from a chair with an in-built trouser press topieces made for Queen Victoria.There is our popular Folk Festival, Bank Holiday Monday 27 May 1pm – til latewith the very best local and regional performers. Theatre lovers are also in for a treat. The popular Tees Regatta returns with hundreds of competitorsfrom across the UK battling it out for glory. Come on down and enjoy around 150 races over a four lane 850 metre coursebetween the Tees Barrage and the River Tees Watersports Centre for thisfantastic event. You can expect a race every four minutes! You can also entera team of your own at an indoor community challenge event on 14 April.Winning teams receive five weeks training to compete in the Regatta. Challenge yourself against the bunkers and water hazards of the Borough's four 18-hole golf courses.Players can choose to enter individual days or a full, four day event.Using the Stableford scoring system there are both daily prizes andoverall prizes for the best aggregate score across the week.
