This is the guitar that I made with glass.I made this because I play guitar on a regular basis and I am interested in the art of Lutherie.

This ornament took two classes to prepare.

I made this piece as a tribute to the compositions of David Gilmour.

This is and Abstract Piece, Iv’e been told it looks like a potato.

Materials neededGlassSoldering ironCopper foilSolderFluxGlass cutters

Step 1Cut out segments of glass which can be put

together to form the final image.

Step 2Tightly Cover the edges of the cut glass with

copper foil.

Step 3Apply flux to the copper foil which is rapped

around the edges of the glass.

Final stepPut the glass pieces together and connect

them using solder and the soldering iron, then wait for the solder and the glass to cool down.
