SOIL DEGRADETION STATUS OF MAHARASHTRA

Soil erosion refers to a process causing wearing away of the earth surface by the

different forces like wind, sunlight, rainfall. The erosion process can be both

constructive and destructive

Qualitatively four soil erosion classes namely
