It was a great turnout of 15 cars for the ten pin bowling and lunch on the strand at The Phoenix bar.

After the usual catch up and chit chat we got into our teams by pulling our names out of the hat. There were quite a few of us having trouble keeping that dam ball out of the gutter but by the amount of laughter and noise we all made everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves .

The overall winner was Murry Nelmes, second was Gareth Rogerson and third was Debbie Nelmes, well done to you all. As we had finished a bit earlier than expected we had a cruise around the mount as it was such a glorious day and the Mount was buzzing. The tummies were grumbling so on to the strand and the Phoenix Bar. Parking had been arranged for us on the grass opposite the bar and our host shouted us all our first drink, such a nice gesture.

No fining session today just a few announcements of some funny behaviour. Our best presented car was picked by the team at ten pin whick went to Kelvin, the VTNZ voucher went to Dave And Kay Corrin and the VTNZ umbrella went to Warren (many thanks to Dave and Vanessa for these). Vicki was the recipient of the Dip Stick award.Lots of chatting and we had the live singer serenading us with mustang sally over our lunches which I believe were enjoyed by all. We would like to thank everyone for coming and hope that you all enjoyed your day.

Regards,

Suzanne and Gillian.
