VIRTUS 'Protecting God's Children' Sessions to be held at St. Patrick
on October 8, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

The 'Protecting God's Children' program for adults is a three hour live awareness session instructing adults of the Church that to protect children you must have constant awareness and vigilance.This awareness session helps trainees understand the signs of child sexual abuse, the methods and means by which offenders commit abuse, and five empowerment steps one can use to prevent child sexual abuse.

International travel is strongly discouraged at this time so this year's prizes will be cash rather than the usual Vatican City trip. Three winning tickets will be drawn:

Oktoberfest 2020October 4th
12:30 p.m to 4:30 p.m.This year's celebration will be different than those in past years. Meals, flowers, and raffle tickets will be purchased from your car and delivered to you as you drive through the parish hall parking lot. The following items will be available:
• Take-out meals including the usual famous fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, green beans, coleslaw, and of course wonderful desserts. Drinks will be available as a side item.
• Cahill Family Greenhouses mums• Parish school classroom basket raffle tickets• Gun raffle tickets
Additional information about the classroom baskets and gun will be available on the parish Facebook page and in future bulletins. The parish school students will bring tickets home in their October family folder. Raffle tickets and money can be dropped off in the Oktoberfest car line or in a marked envelope placed in the offertory baskets at Mass. Sign-up sheets for volunteers will be on a table in the narthex after all Masses on the weekend of September 26, 27.
