sayings of Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba (who is the

Realization is to REALIZE

the SELF!

The SELF is the I in all of us as opposed to

the i which is the selfish self centered i.What or Who is this I

Who or What is this I?

Where is this Atma & is this the soul?

This is because of translation and

language usage/understanding. The soul is a Western concept and loosely

translated as Atma.

Baba Where is the Atma? It is allpervasive! In you, around you. It is

like airALL PERVASIVE.

To differentiate we thus have Jivatma andParamatma.

In an interview Bhagavan Baba declared

that Atma is different from the soul.

Atma has no form. It is infinite, indescribableand immeasurable.attributeless, pure, finalabode, eternal, enlightened, free and

embodiment of sacredness. Such an ATMA THATHWA is immanent in every

being, in the form of CONSCIOUSNESS. Your life as a human being will acquire a

meaning and purpose, only when you realize theCONSCIOUSNESS.Baba (Shivarathiri 2004). So Baba seems to be equating Self Realization

with Realization of Consciousness

So lets not split hairs and just focus on
