halmax, which is born in 1995 as a GE Oil & Gas – Nuovo Pignone Firenze’s engineering study, is specialised mainly in designing accessorial parts for Turbogas Plants such as Filter House, Inlet and Exhaust Ducts, Dampers and Diverters, Air Coolers, Structures, Enclosure and Buildings and Carpentry in different sectors, from the industrial’s to the urban architecture’s.

In 2003, the first business re-organization takes place, and it has the target to qualify the company as a EPC-type (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) for Clients such as GE, Ansaldo, Avio, etc, extending the Engineering and Consultancy Service to the realisation and installation of what have been projected.

halmax is now qualified from all the quoted Clients and it counts several systems that have been realised and installed working either independently or in Joint-Venture with Partners of complete trustworthiness between its references.

halmax group is a EPC Company and it adopts the “Global Service” marketing philosophy. It is able to offer to its Clients the global assistance at the begging of the project with feasibility studies, planning of the productive steps, management and realisation of manufactures, supervision of the works until the delivery step, assembly and start up, guarantying a constant technical and qualified assistance.

The selected companies that operate in the Project Team, under halmax’s coordination, carry out their activity in an organic and integrated way.

The versatility and flexibility of all our Partners allows us to manage with the same and absolute competence and skill orders of little, medium and big size.

The Acoustic Division

halmax enriched the range of services offered up to now thanks to the agreements reached with other complementary companies, which have joined the “Global Service” project.

Now, halmax’s new Acoustic Division allows us to intervene previously making in-situ and sound-level-metre measurements, anticipatory assessments of acoustic impact, design and realisation of acoustic-reclamation works in industrial-work environments.

CENTRAL ITALY – East Coast

WORKSHOP 3 (Gissi – Abruzzo) It is mainly used as a centre of service and framing preparation and it is particularly suitable to realise soundproof equipment such as:

Enclosure; Silencers Duct and Silencing Panels; Light and Heavy Carpentry.

To carry out big-entity job orders it is completely independent, from the productive point of view, this because it is pre-arranged for manufactures’ semi-working activities, assembling and painting.

WORKSHOP 4 ( Teramo – Abruzzo) It is mainly used as a logistic establishment for the temporary storage of small manufactures. However, it is equipped for the working of metal framing, exclusively made with stainless steel.

The Dedicated Areas

Thanks to the commercial and logistic agreements with its Partners, halmax

can guarantee realisations located almost all over the national territory.

The reserved productive areas of Livorno, Massa and Bari are particularly interesting. They are dislocated inside the dockland.

The Logistic Areas of Milano, Torino, Genova, Firenze, Napoli, Venezia, Treviso, Brescia, Cremona and Ragusa are reserved to the storage and/or to the temporary equipment setting.

The Dedicated Areas

The productive centres of Livorno, Massa, Bergamo and Bari, when required, are prepared and made self-sufficient.

They are ideal to realise big-size manufactures, which are destined to the foreign market, and they allow the total drop of the transport’s costs from the usual production sites to the boarding areas.

The Installation Division

halmax group’s Installation Division completes the productive cycle inspired by the “Global Service”, and it allows us to offer to our Clients on-site assembling and installation of the produced equipment.

Therefore, halmax group is able to organise fabrication and assembling yards, both permanent and movable, both in Italy and abroad, which are completely independent, reserving a particular importance to the respect of the current regulations about the safety on work environment, about the correct execution of the works and it is in line with quality and environment managing systems.

Since 1995 (year of foundation of halmax Srl) up to now, we can mention between our references works of absolute prestige in different fields, both directly and in Joint-Venture with other companies.

In the Oil & Gas sector we have designed and/or supplied, the range of turbines from 5 to 126 MW, all the constituent parts of the Turbogas Plant, such as: - Filter House; - Exhaust Ducts, Inlet Ducts and Ventilation Ducts; - Dampers and Diverters; - Air Cooler; - Enclosure and Building; - Anti-Icing systems; - Fire Systems.

March 2010

For AVIO Group we joined the development of ultra-light Enclosures for the setting in naval field of the covertures for GE10 Turbines about the project named FRE.M.M.

April 2011

We joined an international competition for the selection of strategic suppliers of Nuovo Pignone about the project named “PRE-SALT” (PRETROBAS – Brasil) and we came first as designers and builders of Inlet & Exhaust Duct about the TU/GA PGT25 Plus.

June 2012

We have obtained the qualification of direct suppliers of manufactured carpentry for SAIPEM SpA

September 2012 We have obtained the certification EN 13084-7 which allows us to CE mark a self-supporting steel chimney with a guarantee seal the exhaust gases and high temperatures

November 2012 The 1° Self-supporting Steel Chimney will be CE marked (According to EN 13084-7) by us at the Central RHURGAS TENP - SCHWARZACH (Germany)
