Posting your Requisition via Broadbean

Your SAP account has been configured to include Broadbean as your global posting distribution partner.

You will find that your requisitions now include a section that allows you to post jobs directly from your SAP requisition through the Broadbean interface to the job boards and social media channels that you currently utilize today.

In order to get you started we would like to give you a comprehensive overview of how to post jobs through our system.

You will find the Broadbean section inside every requisition if you are a RCM user. Only RCM users are given access to Marketing Central which will view the Market Job Link. This link starts the Broadbean posting process.

Posting your Requisition via Broadbean

When you are ready to post your requisition, select Broadbean. The page will then load and you will be able to create your external advert

When you first enter the Broadbean system, you will be able to click and select the different channels that are available. The list you will see will be dependant on the permissions set by your Broadbean Administrator.

If set up, you will also be able to see the remaining quota or slots that you have with that board.

You can choose as many sites as you wish just by clicking the board. To remove a board, simply click again and this will grey out that channel.

Clicking Continue will then take you to the second step of broadcasting to create your advert details.

Certain key information from your requisition is pulled through from SAP to Broadbean.

You will see that your Job Reference Number (SAP ID), Job Title and Job Description get pulled into the posting form.

Job board specific fields will be populated based on your selection in Step 1 (Choose Job Boards). CTRL + click will allow multi-select on open drop down lists.

Your Job Description will be exported to Broadbean and will be displayed in the way you created it in SAP.The description field is fully editable but this will not edit the text on your Career Site. You can make use of the HTML Bar to add HTML to your job description. This will only be displayed on boards that support HTML. Plain text will be sent if not supported.You also have a spell check option to make sure your advert has no spelling errorsClick on Continue to be taken to the last stage of posting: Preview & Send

The last page of the posting process will allow you to preview your post before pushing it out to the external channels

Any further mandatory fields will be presented in red text along with any other important fields that need checking

You will not be able to make amendments on this page so if you do need to make changes, you will have an option on this page to Go Back to the previous screen

Preview and Send

Posting Time will allow you to send your requisition up to two week in advance so that you can choose to not send this to the external channels until this time.

The Apply Online URL will pull through from SAP. This is the URL that candidates will be redirected to in order to apply for your jobs. You can confirm this URL by selecting check apply online url.

Destinations & Advertising Periods allows you to choose how long your adverts will stay live for. The default for most boards is 7, 14, 21 & 28 days but this is different per board and some options may be hard coded or decided by the boards.

Once you are happy with your advert details, click on Send Posting to send your advert or Go Back to make any amendments

Posting Confirmation

Once your advert has been pushed out to the selected job boards, we will provide you with a confirmation page. This means that the posting has been sent successfully, not necessarily that the Job is now live. If there has been any issues with your posting, we will highlight this with a red x icon and display why there has been an issue. You will also receive an email from Broadbean Support regarding the failure of your job along with next steps on how to resolve the issue.

Click Continue to return to the Marketing Central page to view the status of your advert and mange your advert.

Click on the icon the check the status of your advert and delete your advert from the job boards.

Publish: will allow you to return to the original advert to make changes and post out again. This function does not perform an edit. Please note that on completion it will create a brand new advert and may use a credit (depending on agreement with job board)

Edit: will allow you to edit your live advert. Please note that this feature is not supported by all job boards and it may depend on the country. For further details please contact [email protected]

Clicks: The number of times candidates clicked „apply“ for the corresponding job board post.

Status: You will be able to see the status of your advert per job board.

Delete: you can delete your adverts from individual job boards.
