Hi Readers - We have a very busy time at the Royal Theatre this November and December, and we are delighted to announce our cracker line up of Christmas Party Events.This weekend sees the magical Clannad - and in the weeks ahead we are also looking forward to the international tenor superstar, Paul Potts and the very very funnyman Dara O’Briain. In December we have the exciting Imelda May and of course our fastest selling show ever, Hozier.Enjoy reading this month’s publication with information about many shows. 2014 is shaping up to be one hell of a busy year for Kitchen Hero Donal Skehan. He has not one but two RTE TV Series airing this year. ‘Rediscovering The Irish Kitchen’ aired in June and ‘Donals Irish Feast’ airs this Autumn. If that wasn’t enough Donal is also the lead presenter on Junior Materchef on BBC 1 and his Grandmas Boy TV Show debuts worldwide on the Fox International Network later this summer. Last year Donal was the first ever Irish chef to tour a ‘live’ cookery show around Ireland. He enjoyed himself so much he has decided to do it again!

Johnny McEvoy has always been highly acclaimed for his excellent shows and his concert at Royal Theatre on Sunday February 22nd 2015 is eagerly awaited by his legion of fans. This nostalgiac evening of ‘Song and Story’ features all of Johnny’s many hit songs, including ‘Muirsin Durkan’, ‘Boston Burglar’, ‘Those Brown Eyes’ and ‘Long Long Before Your Time’. His songs are haunting, evocative and beautifully presented with many in the folk and ballad style. This is Johnny’s first concert in Mayo for many years. Not to be missed with one of Ireland’s legendary singer/songwriters.

The meteoric ‘rags to riches’ rise to fame of Paul Potts has astounded music fans worldwide. Paul stole the hearts of Ireland and the United Kingdom during the Britain’s Got Talent final, with a performance of Puccini’s Nessun Dorma. The tenor, who used to manage a phone-store in Bridgend, South Wales, released his album ‘One Chance’ after the show and it soared to number one in thirteen countries. In recognition of Pott’s amazing journey to success, his life story has been turned in to a movie, also titled ‘One Chance’, where award-winning comedian James Corden plays Paul.

Conal brings his own hilarious comedy show of non-stop comedy to the Royal Theatre.
