ROUGH CUT AMENDMENTS

Page 2: Rough cut amendments

I made some changes to my product in light of my audience feedback as I needed to ensure my magazine looked as

professional as possible in order for my target audience to find my product attractive and appealing. I didn’t make any changes to my front cover as when pitching my rough cuts to my target audience, they stated that they liked my front

cover how it was.

WHY CHANGE MY PRODUCT?

My target audience claimed that they

were not keen on the white border

Surrounding the contents page, so I

Removed it and made my images larger

So it became more appealing. They also said I should fill the white space as much as possible. Therefore, I added a

subscription box I also feel that this is an advantage for my product, as subscription details can be found in the

contents page of professional products. So in a sense, my changes made my contents page look more professional.

CHANGES TO MY CONTENTS PAGE

One of my main criticisms when obtaining audience feedback was that the images on my DPS looked stretched. Therefore to make

my magazine remain professional and appealing I resolved this by adjusting my images. I was also told I should start my article by

using drops caps, as this is common within Rock Magazines. I was also told that I should make the questions the interviewer asked in red, so that the audience could identify who was speaking in the magazine. I was also told to break up my article with a quote so that the article did not appear to be too “wordy” as my target

audience claimed that they do not enjoy reading articles with too much text and it would appeal to them more

if there was not

as much text.
