RI President Message

Imagine if we could take a snapshot capturing all of the work Rotary does on a given day. No

one – except Rotarians – would believe that a single organization was capable of

accomplishing so much. In that snapshot you would see dedicated volunteers working to

eradicate polio, setting up microloans, providing clean water, mentoring youth, and

countless other actions.We can do all this thanks both to our geographic reach and to the

fact that our clubs are made up of people who are engaged in their communities. As a part of

the community that you serve, you know the needs, you have the connections, and you're able to take immediate

action. That's why every Rotary club's membership should reflect the diversity of its community.

We've made great strides in this. In Egypt, Indonesia, and Kenya, Rotary is approaching 50 percent female

membership. We're also expanding the age diversity of our clubs. In each of our communities, young professionals

are eager to contribute their talents, give back, and learn from mentors. Let's share with them what Rotary is all

about. The Engaging Younger Professionals Toolkit at Rotary.org has an action plan to help you reach young leaders

and Rotary alumni in your area.Another resource that can help us better reflect our communities – one that is

global like us, is a quarter-million members strong, and already shares our values of service and leadership – is

Rotaract. Rotaractors are our partners: Team up with them on projects, ask them to speak at your events, and invite

them to join your club. Dedicated Rotaractors worldwide are becoming members of Rotary and even starting new

Rotary clubs while still serving as members of Rotaract.

The world needs Rotary, and Rotary needs strong clubs and engaged members in order to do more good. It is our

responsibility – yours and mine – to make sure everyone who shows an interest in joining Rotary gets an invitation.

Make use of the Membership Leads tool at Rotary.org, which helps people who are interested in joining Rotary

connect with a club that's right for them. And let's ensure that every member has a reason to stay. By building

strong clubs that engage in meaningful projects and have fun along the way, we provide value to our club members

that they cannot find anywhere else.Let's not keep Rotary's story – the story captured in those snapshots of service

– to ourselves. I challenge you to invite leaders of all ages, men and women, who are looking for a way to give back.

By doing so, you will Be the Inspiration in your community and help Rotary continue to do good in the world.

My Dear Miracle Chaser Rotarians,

I am extremely happy to welcome you into the new Rotary year of 2018-19. Being a

Rotarian is a position of immense pride coupled with huge responsibility,

Responsibility to take care of community around us, help the underprivileged, add

value to others lives and at the same time adhere to Four Way Test in its truest

sense.

It is also an opportunity which I expect you to take up wholeheartedly and take the

Rotary Movement to new heights. I firmly believe that each one of you is a Leader

who is extremely capable, sensitive and innovative and can transform the destiny of

many a lives through your dedication and commitment to mankind.

I appeal to all Rotarians to ensure that we are transparent in our dealings, forthright and accountable in our actions

and give best possible experience to all fellow members. I urge you all to unite and engage with each other to make

the Experience of Rotary a far more enriching experience than it ever was.

Our new vision statement says - Together we see a world where people unite and take action to create a lasting

change – across the globe, in our communities and in ourselves. It is now our mission to forge great partnerships of

Rotarians across the globe and create a difference in the lives of people.

Dear Friends,

It’s an proud and Historic moment as I ink the first Presidential message as an First and Chartered President of Rotary Club of Pune Fortune, Dist 3131 which was chartered on Jan 3rd2018 & started its Journey with 36 Chartered Members to Serve the humanity.Every responsible citizen of our country wants to give back to the society in return with the infrastructure and systems designed for community. Rotary International and Heritage 113 years old NGO and Global organization gives the platform for every Human to work in form of Social towards the community.

As a Rotarian, I am frequently asked, what is Rotary? Rotary unites more than a million people. Through Rotary clubs, people from all

continents and cultures come together to exchange ideas, and form friendships and professional connections while making a difference in their backyards and around the world. Today I stand before you, humbled and thrilled to be in the position of your president. The prospects are endless as far as what we will be able to accomplish this year, It is truly an honor to serve our community and club as President for 2018– 2019. I am a proud Rotarian and take this honorable position to heart. Rotary Club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under the motto Service above Self.

Rotary is a massive, and massively complex, organization. we have 1.2 million members in 35,633 clubs in nearly every country of the world.Hundreds of thousands of participants are involved in Rotary programs such as Rotaract, Interact, Youth Exchange, Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, Rotary Community Corps, Rotary Peace Centers, and a host of local and Foundation-supported projects and programs at the national, district, and local levels.

The name of Rotary is attached to countless projects every year, from blood banks to food banks, school sanitation to polio eradication. One hundred thirteen years after the first Rotary club was founded, Rotary service reaches literally around the globe.Fun and fellowship are the other key benefits that come with the privilege of membership in Rotary Club of Pune Fortune . We carefully consider and implement events and projects that are “Beneficial to All Concerned” as stated in part through the Rotary 4-Way test.

Our Club has Dynamic and passionate team of Board of Directors and has Great determination to work on Rotary ideology of 6 focus area.

Peace and conflict prevention/resolution.

Disease prevention and treatment.

Water and sanitation.

Maternal and child health.

Basic education and literacy.

Economic and community development.

Networking and Social Media are very important to our club. Through the Rotary community, we use these tools to exchange ideas and build lifelong friendships with like-minded people. We can take advantage of the resources and activities available through our club, district, and Rotary International, to make our experience with Rotary both rewarding and fun.

1. Free Dental Checkup

Free dental check up of students from an Orphan school at wadki . this school we are forming an

interact club. check up was done for more then 300 students.

2. Donation of water filters

Donation of Water filters to the orphan school at Wadki called Annapurna. as water is the ,most

important vehicle we consume everyday . most of disease is water borne disease Hygienic water is

necessary so donations of water filters
