Alzheimer's/Dementia Rotarian Action Group provides information and support to Rotarians on dementia and Alzheimer's disease. Rotarian Action Group for Blindness Prevention helps prevent blindness and promotes eye health and vision worldwide. Global Network for Blood Donation focuses on blood donation projects. Rotarian Action Group of Dental Volunteers provide humanitarian dental service throughout the world. Rotarian Action Group for Diabetes provides service through a strong commitment to education, identification, and treatment of diabetes, especially among children in developing countries. Rotarian Action Group for the Alleviation of Hunger and Malnutrition enhances and sustains local food security and provides nutritious food to the hungry. They also design and build the infrastructure for doctors, nurses, governments, and partners to reach the one in six people in the world who can't afford to pay for health care. Disease prevention and treatment takes on many forms, from supporting studies to helping immunize people to improving drinking water and the sanitation infrastructure. Rotary members are committed to fighting and preventing diseases. In fact, 15 of 26 Rotarian Action Groups (RAGs), which help Rotary clubs and districts carry out community development and humanitarian projects, are focused on disease prevention and treatment. November 2016 Club Activities and Projects

Mr. Jayanta Chatterji is the Chairman of the NNM Group of Companies engaged in real estates, shipping and IT-enabled services. An Honours Graduate in Economics from St. Xavier's College, University of Calcutta, he was instrumental in diversification of the activities of his family shipping business to Logistics, IT-enabled Services and Real Estate.

As Chairman of the Group, he heads the following companies of the NNM Group :

13-11-2016 - "SAMMILAN" - Diwali Meet: Our Rotarians under the leadership of Rtn.Pres.Biren K Mallick, attended the Bijoya Diwali Meet SAMMILAN, and we were one of the sponsors as well.

14.11.2016 – Children’s Day celebrated by our Rotarians, Rotaractors and Interactors, at our South City Residential Complex along with over 50 Poddar Nagar School children, with lots of games, cultural activities, and as well provided them food.

On 19-11-2016 - Our Rotarians and Annets attended "SANGBARDHAN" - Celebration of World Heritage Day:

26-11-2016 – Our club had a Joint Meeting with Rotary Club of Calcutta Renaissance at DKS Club, Deshapriya Park, 18 our Rotarians attended the event.

4.11.2016 Rtn.Sumon Bhowmik, from Rotary Club of Nihon Bashi East, Japan R I Dist.2750, participated in our weekly meeting and addressed our members about the Rotary Activities of their club and his association and settling at Japan.
