Matter Is All Around Us

MatterMatter is anything that takes up space. Matter can be living or nonliving. Everything around us is made of matter. Mass is the amount of matter in an object. Some matter is solid, like a person, a dog, and a bucket. Some matter is liquid, like water, juice, and milk. Some matter is gas, like the air in bubbles, the smell of a flower or good food, and the air inside a balloon.
