The pleasures that my film poster creates shock also intellectual puzzles as this would create a code of enigma whilst doing this it would create hype for the trailer.

The main image of the poster consists of two images one of the medium close up of the possessed man standing, and the Long shot of the car driving in to the woods showing the setting with the isolated road and the tall trees, then in contrast the small car showing us that the countryside is the most dominant factor in that image.

The Title of my poster is ‘Cloven’ meaning ‘The Devil’, this gives a hidden message within the title. The devil is known to possess people to show this I wanted a close up of a man with blacks eyes telling the viewer he is possessed.

The Iconography of this film poster is of the forest for the setting, the blacked out eyes explaining who has been possessed, also the Isolated long road and lastly the vulnerable victims in the car.

The USP (Unique selling point) of my film poster will be one of the actresses which is ‘Ellie Reed’ who will play one of the vulnerable victims in the car, who ends up being the first to get possessed.

My film poster has the tag line of ‘Something was disturbed…’ I chose this because the something would be the thing that possesses the group of friends. I placed the tagline on one of the group members who has been possessed. The tagline shows that the characters in this film have done something to release a demon, you’re not told what has possessed them, so it leaves questions (code of enigma).

I haven’t finished the Billing block or the multi- media. I will have in my billing block, information like the director and the cast and crew. I decided to place the billing block at the bottom because I have copied the layout of the Woman in black film poster. I Placed the release date below the billing block because it’s the best place to save space and I will put my multi-media website below that.
