As a city girl, I grew up in a big city, Shenzhen in China. This city offers me a lot of conveniences such as 24-hour shops, high-quaility education, remarkable restaurants, high salary and so on. Howev-er, pressure comes with these benefits. Indeed, I sometimes feel stressed because of the terrible traffic jams and the endless com-petition. However, I think that this paradox contributes to the unique character of the city. I’m fascinated by this big city, Shenzhen.

Children are took to the galleries by their parents to learn the history, art and aesthetics. It was the same story to me. At first, I couldn’t understand why my parents like to do so and for me, it seemed meaningless. But actually, all these museums and galleries cultivated my enthusiasm for art and enlightened me on painting skills.

Most of them are students and only two of them work in companies. 4 of them are our App users, 8 of them are other comic Apps users and the rest of them don’t use App to read comics, but instead use browsers.

Analysis:

QQ is the product belonging to the Tencent. We can cooperate with them and attract more target users to our App.Attract illustrators, cosers and active users to our App to increase good user generated content (UGC) in our App.We need to build up point reward and gift bonus. The frequency that users use our App will benefit from this system.

Target & My Mission:Our team begin to build the social network-ing services in the version 5.2. We are planning to refine the comment system which plays an important role in social networking services. The version 5.2 Android App will support the function of posting pictures and stickers in users’comments. I assist to pototype parts of the comment system and design the stickers.

T-shirt Design

It was the last semester of our college lives. I suddenly got aware of the fact that some of my friends would take their graduation programs, some of them would go to work in companies and others would go abroad. It was the time to say good bye to our college lives. However, I believed it was a new beginning to our future. I hoped that we could fight for our academic goals or career promotions, so I came up with the idea to make a T-shirt which embraced my good wish and cherish memory. I invited my friend, Liu Ying , to join in. We designed this T-shirt, contacted the manufacturer to make it and sold the T-shirt on our campus.

通信 means communication and is the abbreviation of our institute - Science Information and Communi-cation. 向and仰are inserted between 通 and 信. Then, the meaning of phrase becomes to‘for faith’. I believed that every student need faith in their lives.

There is a special nickname of our university called Qingshui temple. There-fore, I sketch a little monk to represent our students. Qingshui temple is the place where they study and live. This little monk also represents studiousness and perseverance which just like our students strive for their goals in their four-year college lives. The ripples of the river surrounding this little monk is behalf of Qingshuihe. In Chinese, he(河)means river.

Gingko is used on the back side of T-shirt, for our university is famous for its scenery of Gingko. Our college has been selected as one of the most beautiful Gingko scen-ery in China. Even though we have to leave this university, the beauty of Gingko will imprint in our mind.

You can find more details including prices, high definition pictures, and sizes table of the T-shirt, in following address.However, this T-shirt was sold on our campus, so there is no English version of our advertisting website. (Sorry about that)

Social Softwares : Advertising the T-shirt through Weibo, Wechat and QQ (utilizing the linkages of friends)Advertising fliers : Sticking the advertisements on the walls of the seniors’ dormitories (targeting to the unknow people).The cost of each T-shirt is 37 RMB and we sell it to students for 49 RMB per T-shirt but 90 RMB for both.

Ensure the number of the T-shirt for each size and book 5-6 pieces more for the size M&L in case of emergency;

The textile : 60% cotton + 40% acrylic fibers & The craft : using foil stamping process;

Minimize the chromatic aberration between our digital pictures and the T-shirt sample, I modify our digital picture in CMYK mode;

Negot iate wi th manufacturers to reduce the cost; (PS:The most interest-ing thing was that I found that the man-ager of the manufactory was ouralum-nus. Thank to that , I got the best price;)
