DESCRIPTION

1.ABSTRACT: GSM technology has the potential to dramatically improve numerous industrial practices. However, it still faces many challenges, including security and reliability, which may limit its use in many application scenarios. While security has received considerable attention, reliability has escaped much of the research scrutiny. In this work, we investigate the reliability challenges in GSM-based tracking applications, Our experiments show that the reliability of tag identification is affected by several factors, including the inter-tag distance, the distance between the tag and antenna, the orientation of the tag with respect to the antenna, and the location of the tag on the object. We demonstrate that GSM system reliability can be significantly improved with the application of simple redundancy techniques.

1.ABSTRACT:

GSM technology has the potential to dramatically improve

numerous industrial practices. However, it still faces many challenges,

including security and reliability, which may limit its use in many

application scenarios. While security has received considerable attention,

reliability has escaped much of the research scrutiny. In this work, we

investigate the reliability challenges in GSM-based tracking applications,

Our experiments show that the reliability of tag identification is affected by

several factors, including the inter-tag distance, the distance between the

tag and antenna, the orientation of the tag with respect to the antenna, and

the location of the tag on the object. We demonstrate that GSM system

reliability can be significantly improved with the application of simple

redundancy techniques.

4. METHODOLOGY:

As shown in above diagram system works as follows the materials should

be attached with the device if we want to track materials we want to send

one signal from our mobile it sends signals to device which is with the

materials we need to find then to response with the input signals the arm

request for the location and sends co-ordinates to requested numbers thus

we can find the location of the materials easily.

5. ADVANTAGES & DISADVANTAGES:

ADVANTAGES:

1.There is no cost for using GPS signals from the satellites

2.The positioning accuracy is from a centimeter to few meters

DISADVANTAGES:

Attacks such as jamming, blocking and spoofing can happen against

GPS.

6.APPLICATIONS:

1.Air Traffic Navigation And Control

2.Management And Tracking Of Ship And Land Vehicle Fleets

3.Rental And Personal Car Navigation Systems

4.Automation Of Container Location And Tracking To Increase The

Efficiency Of Ports

5.Navigation Systems For Remotely Piloted Air, Land And Water

7.CONCLUSION:

Thus the full system work deals for the secure way of governing our

properties in the absence of the authorized person. Though the design and

architecture of the robot resemble strange yet is an effective way of security

system. Thus it is an evidence to prove that robots can assist human

effectively without any difficulty.
