    A strong cold ront is expected to sweep across Montanaon Saturday producing widespread light accumulatingsnow one to two inches in most places andincreasingly colder temperatures into Monday.

    In order to ensure that each student does have apost-high school goal, Rennick meets with all juniorsand seniors in his office one-by-one and discussestheir uture. Specifically, he is dedicated to preventingstudents rom wasting money or going into unnecessarydebt. He recommends that his students find any and allfinancial aid and persuades them to have a concreteplan o what they want to do afer high school beorethey spend any money. Honesty and support are twoelements that define Mr. Rennicks counseling career atGlasgow High School.

    Other activities that Rennick organizes are annualcollege and career airs, as well as FAFSA inormationand help sessions. According to Corey Smith, Rennickis also highly involved in trying to incorporate more

    honors classes, AP classes, dual credit classes and otherafer-school-hours programs. Tese have proven beneficia l in helping studentsearn college credit during high school. Rennicksactions have had very positive results. Smith says thatmany o Glasgow High Schools students go to collegewith a semesters worth o credits. Mr. Rennicks hardwork and support o his students can reach beyond highschool and can greatly improve the students utures. Inact, he does not stop helping a student once he or shehas graduated. Smith says that Rennick realizes that those whoare struggling to make the transitions to college, theadaptations to the working world, or new riends in anew place are the ones who may need the most help.Its this awareness o the needs o graduates as wellas current students that sets Mr. Rennick apart romother counselors. Smith defines Rennicks work as a series o selflessacts. His unwavering support and above-and-beyondwork or his current and ormer students shows howdedicated he is to his job as well as to the welare o hisstudents.
