Donna’s Last RideIt was a sunny-but-brisk afternoon on Friday, October 30th that Donna Mae Reinhardt was escorted in a horse-drawn hearse and laid to rest in the Highland Cemetery in Glasgow. Donna’s daughter, Marla Barnby, took the long ride up the hill with a beautiful team of horses and the hearse out of Miles City with Chet at the reins. Donna was genuinely fond of horses her entire life. At right is her grandson, Tony Gundermann, who would lead the riderless horse. Donna’s family would like to say thanks to all for the many expressions of sympathy shown following her death.
Follow your heart, but be sure to take your brain with you.

William Donovan is famous as the founder of the OSS, the WWII spy agency which was the forerunner of our CIA. When getting the agency together he consulted with a friend and British naval officer who was the assistant to the head of British Naval Intelligence. The officer, glad to help Donovan, was a man of great imagination and a keen eye for detail. He stayed at Donovan’s house in Washington, D.C. where he drafted several detailed memos advising how to organize an American intelligence agency. After the war he moved to Jamaica, where he drew upon his experiences (and fantasies) to write a series of novels about an espionage agent who knew no equal, and who was a bit of a lady’s man. So the man, Commander Ian Lancaster Fleming, who helped create the CIA also created the world’s most famous fictional spy. The name is Bond. James Bond! – Things, Ideas & People... If life gives you melons, you might have dyslexia.
A mechanic noticed his co-worker drinking brake fluid at lunch. “What are you doing, man? You can’t drink that stuff!” “Relax,” replied his co-worker, “this stuff tastes pretty good, and I don’t drink it all the time.” “Seriously,” the mechanic exclaimed, “that brake fluid is poison!” “Hey, man!” yelled the co-worker, “back off! I can stop any time I want.”
My friend David had his ID stolen the other day. So now we just call him Dav.

Friday Funnies by Sugar
A guy walks into the Montana Bar and orders a whiskey. Just before he takes a sip of his whiskey, a guy runs in and says, “Bill, your house burnt down!” So he runs outside, but then he thinks, “I don’t have a house,” so he goes back into the bar and takes a sip of his whiskey. Another guy runs in and says, “Bill! Your dad just died!” He runs out of the bar, gets on his horse and rides a little ways, but then thinks, “I don’t have a dad,” so he goes back into the bar and drinks almost all of his whiskey. Then another guy runs in and says, “Bill! You won the lottery!” So he runs out, gets on his horse and rides all the way to the bank, but then he thinks, “My name’s not Bill.”
