Annual Remembrance Treeto support Block of Bucks The Student Council at Glasgow High School is sponsoring their annual Remembrance Tree program to remember our loved ones that have passed on. A tree filled with lights to commemorate those loved ones will be on display throughout the holiday season in front of the Pioneer Museum. To include your loved ones, contact any High School Student Council member or adviser, or the high school office at 228-2485. Also, if you would like to purchase a bulb to recognize the men and women serving in our armed forces and stationed around the world, you may do that as well. Bulbs may be obtained by November 27th for a $5.00 donation. A lighting ceremony for the Remembrance Trees is scheduled for Sunday, November 29th, at 4:00 p.m. The tree will be lit daily from November 29 to December 31. The community is invited to attend the initial lighting ceremony at the Pioneer Museum (refreshments will be served). Proceeds from the Remembrance Trees will be donated to the Block of Bucks. Through your generosity, over $23,500 has been donated to the Block of Bucks program from your generous support of the Remembrance Tree program.

Fish & Wildlife Commission to Meet in Helena next week Montana’s Fish & Wildlife Commission will meet Thursday, November 12th beginning at 8:30 a.m. at Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks’ Montana WILD Education Center, 2668 Broadwater Ave. Commissioners will take final action on 2016 fishing regulations; elk hunting shoulder seasons pilot projects beginning in late November in up to seven hunting districts; duck-hunting zone adjustments in Montana’s portion of the Central Flyway; and an addition to the Wall Creek Wildlife Management Area near Ennis. On land matters, commissioners will be asked to endorse a lease agreement for the Round Up Fishing Access Site on the Blackfoot River; and additions to the Blackfoot-Clearwater WMA west of Ovando, the Fresno Tailwater WMA near Havre, and the Threemile WMA near Stevensville. FWP also will ask the commission to endorse a timber sale on the Blackfoot-Clearwater WMA and the translocation of sage grouse from Montana to Alberta, Canada. Commissioners also will consider a proposed biennial rule for public comment that would allow FWP to prohibit floating near the Supply Ditch on the Bitterroot River when river conditions are unsafe for public use. The meeting will end with an informational session on Montana’s upcoming biennial hunting season setting process. For the full agenda and additional information, visit FWP’s website at fwp.mt.gov. A fun one to watchFor those who cleared out of the Glasgow High School Gymnasium following Glasgow’s loss to Shelby Thursday evening, you missed one dandy volleyball match to cap off the evening. High-flying power hitter Hannah King and her Choteau Bulldogs had to come from behind to clip the Fairfield Eagles’ wings in the fifth and final game, 15-13. The Bulldogs now face the Coyotes in the semifinal match of unbeatens tonight at 6:00. If you have yet to take in some volleyball matches, the Buzz urges you to do so. All these teams have worked very hard to get to the Northern B Divisional Tournament and it is some high-octane, fast-paced entertainment.

After my Prostate Exam, and the doctor left, the nurse came in. As she shut the door, she asked me a question I didn’t want to hear.... She said.... “Who was that?”

A single crow sits alone on one of the many benches in the park. Suddenly a second crow comes along and lands next to the one crow. The two crows exchange a mild conversation until they spot a third crow flying overhead. Suddenly they begin to yell at the other crow until it too lands on the bench, and once again they begin to talk for a while. The three crows would chat back and forth until another crow would fly by, where they would turn their focus on getting the other crows to land on the bench. Occasionally one would land only to fly away a couple minutes later. This would continue on and off for a few hours before the police suddenly arrived and arrested the crows for attempted murder.

Question: What do you get when you breed an elephant with a rhino? Answer: A visit from the university board of ethics.

Jazmine Foster-Shaw keeps the ball alive during Glasgow’s quarterfinal match with Shelby. After the Scotties tied up the match at a game apiece, the Coyotes caught fire and won the next pair. That put the Scotties in loser-out action as they were to play the Poplar-Malta winner at 2:30 this afternoon. If the Scotties can pull that one off, you can watch them again tonight at 7:30 and they would likely be playing Fairfield which is also a super-fun team to watch. The 1B dominance trend continues as the Coyotes and the Bulldogs meet tonight with the winner advancing to the title match.

You may have heard about 4-H, or observed 4-H members and leaders in action at the fair or doing community service. But do you know that 4-H is the nation’s largest youth development organization, empowering six million young people throughout the U.S? 4-H helps shape youth to move our country and the world forward in ways that no other youth organization can. The caring support of adult volunteers and mentors inspires young people in 4-H to work

collaboratively, take the lead on their own projects and set and achieve goals with confidence. These pivotal experiences build a foundation of leadership and skills for success in their future careers. Is 4-H a good fit for you, your children or your family? Come to the Valley County 4-H Expo to explore all 4-H entails and learn from members and leaders about the positive experiences they have had through their 4-H projects, clubs and youth activities. 4-H members will be

demonstrating a variety of project activities from poultry to sewing, cookie decorating to shooting sports, sports fishing to small engines and even a chance to roast a marshmallow and make a S’more at the Lutheran Church Sunday, November 8th from 3:30 to 5:00. Plan to come, take part in the activities and learn about 4-H. Youth can enroll in 4-H at this event or anytime at the Valley County Extension Office located in the courthouse. Or contact us at 228-6241.

A little old man boards a bus with a bowling balls in each of his front pockets. He sits down next to a beautiful young blonde lady, and she can’t help but glance quizzically at the man and his bulging pockets. It’s an uneasy few minutes before, finally, the little old man can take no more. “Bowling balls,” he nods reassuringly. The blonde seems a little shocked, and stares on. Moments later, she says: “Does it hurt as much as tennis elbow?”
