Please assist us by waiting out-side holding rooms to pick up your children. Children will not be al-lowed to leave without a parent picking them up. Today’s Matinee performance was brilliant. Well done Southies!
Aquarium Excursion Next Tuesday, November 20 our Years 3—6 students will be travel-ling to the Sydney Aquarium at Darling Harbour. Please return permission notes and money as a priority.
Longneck Lagoon Excursion
Next Wednesday, November 21 our Stage 1 students will be trav-elling to the Longneck Lagoon. Please return permission notes and money as a priority.
Working Bee Don’t forget our working bee 8:00—11:00am, Saturday No-vember 24. Morning tea will be provided. Our garden and outdoor learning area on the K—2 side of the school is really starting to take shape and any assistance to fur-ther the project will be appreciat-ed.
Golden Ridge Farm Excursion
Our Kindergarten students will be travelling to Golden Ridge Farm at Dural on Wednesday November 28.
Please ensure permission notes and money ($35) is returned to the school office by Monday No-vember 26.

Year 6 Carnivale
Our Annual Carnivale is fast approaching and will be held on Friday, December 7.
Over the coming weeks lead-ing up to Carnivale, we are asking Years 5 and 6 families for help with donations to make the day successful.
We are in need of the follow-ing donations, which can be brought in to school and giv-en to the class teacher:
Small prizes (stationery, toys, gifts etc.)
Individually wrapped lollies (keep this to a minimum)
Soft drinks (for ice-cream spiders stall) - 1.25L and 2L bot-tles required (NOT COLA)
Vanilla ice-cream (we prefer this to be brought in as late as possi-ble due to freezer room)
Coloured hair spray cans.
