16-18 September 2013 : Italian Delegation in South Africa - Aspin Frosinone
Aspin is the Special Agency for International Activities of the Frosinone Chamber of Commerce, one of the most vibrant economic area of Lazio Region in central Italy. From the 16th to the 18th of September, with the national support of the Union of the Italian Chambers of Commerce-Unioncamere, ASPIN has organized, in collaboration with the Italian South African Chamber of Trade and Industries as well as the Italian Trade Commission in Johannesburg, a schedule of business to business meetings in Johannesburg. The 19 participating Italian companies have met South African counterparts in the following sectors: food and beverage, chemical-pharmaceutical, engineering and automation industries. The objective of this project was to promote and confirm the excellence of the Made in Italy, in South Africa. About 50 invited guests joined the presentation with some important key speakers and this was a very good networking opportunity and a chance to get one on one feedback from high profile Italian business men such as: • Federico Sisti - The General Secretary of the Frosinone Chamber of Commerce; • Antonio Cimato - The President of the Italian South-African Chamber of Commerce; • Paolo Bonissone - The First Secretary of the Italian Embassy; • Giulio Mulas - The Italian Trade Commissioner; • Christian Naegele - The Director of the UNICREDIT Bank; • Riccardo Fanelli - The Director of SACE South Africa

SI è svolta a Johannesburg dal 16 al 18 Settembre la missione multicamerale di aziende italiane, missione nata grazie alla collaborazione tra ASPIN Frosinone, l’Unioncamere, la Camera di Commercio Italo-Sudafrica e l’ICE di Johannesburg. Hanno partecipato 19 aziende divise in 3 settori di appartenza: food & beverage, farmaceutico e meccanico. Sono stati organizzati una serie di incontri B2B tra le imprese italiane e le loro controparti sudafricane. Ad aprire la tre giorni di lavori è stata una conferenza che si è svolta Lunedi 16 Settembre alla presenza delle principali istituzioni e realtà italiane presenti in Sud Africa. L’evento, che e’ stato molto utile poichè ha permesso alle imprese italiane di meglio comprendere e conoscere i soggetti che lavorano per promuovere il Made in Italy in terra sudafricana.

We are very happy to announce that from 3rd October 2013 the Italian entrepreneurs in Uganda have established the Chamber of Commerce in Oriental Africa.
Georgio Petrangeli and Micael Anzon have been appointed as President
and CEO respectively.

The Johannesburg International Motor Show “The Joburg Motor Show”, from the 18th to the 27th of October, is the single largest international automotive event in Southern Africa.
The exhibition (held once every two years) runs in conjunction with two additional shows 'Auto Shop' and the 'Johannesburg Truck and Bus Show' which collectively offer a complete representation of the motor industry, serving Sub Saharan Africa and South Africa as host country.
This event takes place at the Johannesburg Expo Centre, Nasrec, Johannesburg, and is a comprehensive automotive lifestyle show case.
