Celebration Worship

OPEN DOOR SUNDAY is here. So much praying, planning, organizing, enlisting, volunteering, and inviting has prepared us for this day. Thank you for your part in all of this. It’s a big change. We’re taking some risks here. But when God says, “Follow me,”

we follow. Dual Sunday Schools (Connect Groups) will create space without debt and open the door for more people to attend and grow in Christ through the new options. Classic Worship will be classic: many of you are going to feel you’re home again. Celebration Wor-ship will be high-octane, high-tech heart-felt worship: many of you are going to feel like you are finally home. We’ll be worshiping the same God in two distinct cultural languages which will open doors to many people we’re not reaching at this time. We still need some folks who are willing to park in our off-campus parking. A shuttle will run. It will work well, but we need some more volunteers please, so we can make space on campus for first-time visitors and guests. Let the office know if you’re willing (624-3345). Our sermon series the first few weeks is “The Exile Life.” We’ll be looking at Daniel for a guide on how to live as strangers in a strange land. This is a series that will communicate to non-Christians what the Christian life is about. And I pray it also encourages believers to live faithfully in a culture that no longer honors Christ. Please pray that God will use this series and His word to transform hearts. 3-2-1 Blast Off! See you Sunday. Proud to be your pastor, John
