That would have been her 87 th birthday. She didn’t have it easy her whole life, but she did her best and helped get me to Jesus. That’s what Chrisan mothers do. On this Mother’s Day Sunday we’ll be thinking about how God can use an ordinary mother in extraordinary ways. If our naon ever needed prayer, it needs it now. On Thursday, May 7, you have two opportuni- es to parcipate with your Chrisan family in Hot Springs on the Naonal Day of Prayer. You can go to First Nazarene Church from 11:00–1:00, or you can go to Trinity Church from 7:00-9:00 pm. These churches are hosng this important me of prayer for a naon divided and slipping farther and farther from God. Only God can save us. Let’s pray for a sweeping revival. Hope you can aend one of these sessions. I find that I’m sll wearing orange a good bit these days to remind me to pray for our persecuted brothers and sisters in the world. A number of Chrisans are wearing orange on Sundays for that reminder. Several of our folks are doing that too. We can’t fix policies or influence persecutors, but we can pray and we show our solidarity with them. Please remember these people in your prayers. See you Sunday! I spent some time thinking about my mother on May 1. That would have been her 87th birthday. She didn’t have it easy her whole life, but she did her best and helped get me to Jesus. That’s what Christian mothers do. On this Mother’s Day Sunday we’ll be thinking about how God can use an ordinary mother in extraordinary ways.

Using the remote parking at 116 St. Louis St. and shuttle van from 8:30-9:00 and after 2nd Service.

You can also park at the extremities of our lots or on the streets.

Park in the Wedding Chapel Yard.

And we have permission to park in the Grass Lot beyond the low-er end, Northwest corner of the Wedding Chapel parking lot.

for a busy, busy summer. Last year we set a record with over 50 of our church going to help and we need to beat that this

year. Great class or family time to DO MISSIONS right here in our area. This year we need you to bring your tools and

supplies. Paint & Round-up weed poison will be provided but if you want to donate to help pay for what they have,

please do.

Starts at 8:00 AM but come anytime of the day and stay for as long as you can.

This year we will be * Painting * Installing base board and trim * Spraying weed killer and edging grass beds * tearing down 2 small buildings * repairing the African mission village home we built four years ago *

cleaning and organizing the nurses station * gardening * building a sand pit * repairing ceiling tile and mattress supports * Building and repairing chain link fences * Repair of prayer shelter buildings.
