NEPA LUTHERAN MISSION PARTNERSHIP February 2011 Bulletin NEPA LUTHERAN MISSION PARTNERSHIP February 2011 Bulletin NEXT STEP MARCH 5: Moscow Mission Meeting On Saturday, Feb. 5th, at Jonathan's Restaurant in Moscow, PA, a meeting of minds and hearts from five NEPA congregations took place. Three different mission opportunities were considered, with the goal of narrowing that list down to one for further action. After extensive discussion it was plain that the Holy Spirit was leading us to establish a mission outreach to the Moscow area. There are many things that contributed to this conclusion. 1. The area is stable, growing slowly but steadily. 2. There is no Lutheran Church ministry in the immediate area. 3. There are a number of members of Scranton churches who live in the Moscow area - some of whom might desire to be a part of an exciting mission in their community. This would provide a "core group".
