- Kid’s Corner Craft - Scary Gourd Ghosts!
Do you have too many gourds lying around in your garden that you don’t know what to do with? Why not use them for a great Halloween craft for your kids while they carve their pumpkins! Make it your new fall tradition!
All you need are some dried gourds (gooseneck or kettle gourds look the best), a bit of sand paper and some white and black craft paint.
Step 1: lightly sand your gourd surface smooth
Step 2: paint 2-‐3 coats of white paint over the gourds and let dry between coats
Step 3: paint a ghost mouth and eyes on the gourd. You can change the placement of the ghost face depending on which type of gourd you used!
This is a fun and easy craft to do with children! Have a happy Halloween!
