ORIENTATION
PLEASE REMEMBER
It is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT that you take your MATH and ENGLISH placement exams before August 15! Without these scores, you will not have the chance to take Math or English courses in your first semester, and we will be missing important information that will help us place you into the proper courses. UPP/UPA must take English and Math placement; MEP should take Math only. Instructions are in the following slides.
To take your placement exams, you must sign into WISER, your UMB student account. For instructions on how to log in to WISER, go HERE.
It is also VERY, VERY IMPORTANT that you select your classes prior to your arrival. Registration begins August 15! Don’t worry about making a mistake – that’s ok! We will review every student’s choices to make sure that you have chosen the proper courses. However, if you don’t register for your classes prior to Orientation, we will be forced to choose your classes for you based on what is available at the time of Orientation.
To register for classes, you must log into the Navitas Portal, go HERE.
