Members are reminded that, as a courtesy to our co-tenants, Monbulk-Clematis ARC and WRECAR, we do not use the grounds on their rally days, the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month.

Duty Roster. Canteen Roster:

Please arrange a swap with another family if you are unable to attend on your rostered day. Please contact Sally Brownridge, 0408302308, sallyclair55@gmail.com & let her know if you do arrange a swap. Please note that canteen duty begins at 10.00am and runs till 3.00pm. Canteen divided into 2 shifts. These

shifts are flexible between whom is rostered. Pm shift includes serving at lunch time.

The committee is trying to organise rally day details to make the day run better and easier for everyone. As the set up is rarely only done by the families on duty we are no longer nominating people for this duty. It was decided at the last committee meeting that all families will help with set/pack up. Hi Everyone,

Welcome to the November Rally.

THIS RALLY I would like to welcome Anne Bradley. Anne and Danielle will be assisting you with

anything to do with your Dressage test. Please bring along a test you would like to ride.

I would also like to welcome 2 riders to our club who are just trying us out for the day.

Porcha Ryan, off course we all know Porcha, we hope you have a really fun day, and Riordan

McKenzie.

Start Time Start time is 10.00am. Please be ready to ride by 9.45am for gear check.

We will need all hands on deck to build our Showjumping course. This rally

Jacqui will be instructing our jumping!

Dressage Focus I would also like to welcome back Danielle Poole. A great chance to talk to Danielle about those competition nerves. She is also great at ring craft. Don't forget our competition is coming up so this lesson will be great in preparation. Welcome Anne Bradley. Anne will focus on your Dressage Test so please bring along one you would like to work on. Anne will also be full of great advice to impress the judge. For our riders that have never ridden a dressage test we will be able to teach you what all

those letters around the arena are for.

Showjumping you will be able to practice your showjumping and refresh all the showjumping rules with

Jacqui.

Heads Up on Next Rally

Next Rally (December) Is our XMAS RALLY. SPECIAL RALLY WITH LOTS OF FUN.

SHOW RING, FRESHMANS SHOWJUMPING, FUN RING, AND DONT FORGET TO GET YOUR FANCY DRESS COSTUMES READY. THIS DAY WILL BE ORGANISED BY THE JUNIOR COMMITTEE. AND THEN FOLLOWING OUR DAY OF RIDING WE ARE ALL BACK AT THE CLUB FOR OUR XMAS PARTY AND PRESENTATION NIGHT.

PRESENTATION NIGHT START TIME IS 6.30PM FOR PRESENTATION AT 7.00PM SHARP. BRING YOUR OWN PLATES, CUTTLERY AND DRINKS. AND A SALAD OR DESSERT. THE CLUB SUPPLIES THE BBQ SPIT.

Out N About The October Month

Congratulations to all our riders who have been out competing this month!! It is great to see and hear about people getting out there and representing mighty Monbulk. Please

contact me if you have competed throughout November. Any photos of people out competing, please send them to me so we can share them on the newsletter with the

club.

Showing

Charlotte has had a very busy few weeks. She went to Donvale Show and took out Champion Rider and Champion Ridden, in the open ring and competed against grade 2 & 1 riders for mount most suitable for ODE and came second. (Julie tells me poor Charles looked a bit silly standing in the ring with all the huge hacks) but he worked like a dream and didn't get put off by all the big horses.

Last weekend they also to Croydon Ag where they won both the Child's Mount and Open

Mount and went on to win the Reserve Champion in both, she was only beaten by the pony that has one Grand Nationals so it was a great achievement.

Great work Charlotte and Charlie. Congratulations and we cannot wait to see what you get up to next month.

Eventing Congratulations to all our riders who have been out eventing. Ballarat Horse Trials had 4 of our riders heading up the Western Hwy to Ballarat. Congratulations To Monique placing 4th in only her second HT on Reggie.

Showjumping

Congratulation to Brittany Williams. Brit is on the road to another State Championships. Brit just won the C Grade overall at the SMZ Qualifier at Mentone by following up from a win the previous week.

Dressage Erica and Janis were off to Dingley SMZ Dressage qualifyer. They both had a great day. Congratulations to Erica and Daisy coming 4th in Grade 1 Dressage at Dingley SMZ qualifier. Good luck at our comp Erica.

Upcoming Events and Reminders Monbulk PC Combined training and dressage day SMZ Qualifying event for grades 1,2 &3 Dressage

Don't forget November 16th is our Combined Training and Dressage Competition. All help is required on the day. But more importantly it is a great opportunity to compete at our home grounds. More information will be available this rally. Entry is up so please enter NOW. See you all Sunday

2014 Year Book: Hi everyone, I have been working madly on the Year Book for the past few weeks, its coming along nicely! Thank you to those who emailed your photos to me, it really makes my job easier and the year book better! To any of you who are yet to email me, the cut off date is 17th November - just after our comp, to give me enough time to put the finishing touches before print. Also, Please Dont Forget to Bring Your $15.00 to Rally this Sunday. Its not too late to add your name to the list, if you would like to receive a copy of the 1st edition of the Monbulk Pony Club Year Book - however payment is required this rally. Just wanted to send a reminder to all members , that Pony club jumpers have arrived .. $80 each We also have lots of summer polos from $35 And long sleeve polos available for sale on Sunday.. Not to mention heaps if other great accessories!!! We were also hoping to start a second hand uniform table : where members bring outgrown jumpers , jodhpurs , boots , polos etc .. All items would be required to be clearly labelled with name of seller and price wanted .. The items will be full responsibility of the seller and they will be in charge of collecting money and taking items home if they do not sell .. Just thought it would be a great way to get rid of outgrown items .. I'll have a table ready at the rally day for anyone wanting to take part .. Karen Malerba

Out and About Results Welcome – if you are out there competing in PCAV, EFA, Inter-School or Open comps we

would love to hear about how you are doing! These results encourage our clubs younger riders to get out

there and give it a go!

The last 2 weekends Britt and Sam have competed at State Qualifiers for C grade Show Jumping. The first weekend she came first at Mountain District. And last weekend she won all 3 phases of the competition. Winning overall! An amazing effort on very technical and tricky courses. Well done Britt and Sam!
