presentations on ecosystem research. They are identifying the abiotic and

biotic factors of the environment and interactions between organisms,

2013 Senior Trip-Flying “L” Ranch By: Tiona Dawson, Senior

Saturday May 11, 2013, the seniors went to their senior trip at the Flying L Ranch in Bandera.

They departed around 12:25 p.m. and arrived at about 2:00. They started the day with a great

time at the water park, pool, a game of miniature golf, and ping-pong followed by a dinner

and a show featuring a trained Border Collie sheep dog. The seniors enjoyed a night of

karaoke and s’mores with their class. They also engaged in a night of volleyball &

basketball games. The next day started with a breakfast buffet prepared by the ranch staff. It

was a day full of memories and laughs that the seniors will always remember.

Communication is for Life

Speech and language disorders can affect anyone

at any age. Millions of infants, children, and adults

in America suffer from a communication or swallowing

disorder. Whether it’s a difficulty in swallowing or a

disorder such as stuttering, delayed language, or a voice

problem, a person’s ability to learn and interact with

others can be affected. If you suspect you or a loved one

may be experiencing a communication or swallowing

disorder, consult a speech-language pathologist.
