How I . the forms andconventions
Used. In my research I found that the most professional magazines use to thetool of forms and conventions. However, by using and analysing the forms and
conventions of leading brand magazines I was able to adapt them to make my
magazine unique not stereotypical, making it have an edge on rivals. When using the
forms and conventions I added my own ideas to the creation.
Challenged. I challenged some forms and conventions as I thought that some didntsuit my design for the magazine. I also found that following the typical setup means
the product is liking to be like many others. So, if my magazine was similar to other
dance magazines, it would raise the question, Why should the audience choose my
product instead of the leading brand?

What I have learnt from the prelimary
task
From the prelimary task to completing the magazine production I
have learnt:
Media skills on Photoshop- manipulating images, adding text and
effects
Being able to create a document in Publisher
Even though I didnt like the idea of the blog, I now have the
skills to publish images, documents and comments
I would have liked to use the blog more effectively, perhaps by
adding pole so that followers could vote for their preferences
on ideas.

What I really like about the wholeof my magazine product and
improvements The main aspect of my magazine that I like the use ofcolour, as I have tried to capture the atmosphere ofyouths.
I think that my article is the strongest point of myproduct, perhaps because I had the most inspirationfor the content and layout.
Creating the ideas, stretches and planning I would have liked to improve the contents page, doesnt fit
with the standard
Took more photos, wider range
