Welcome to the first Primary School magazine of the year. The KIS WIZARD is written by a talented and committed group of Primary students who meet once a week on Friday afternoons.

The WIZARD’s editorial team has doubled in size with new members joining from grade 3 to 5. There should be something for everyone in the pages of the WIZARD but if you think there is something the team has missed or you would like to contribute to the next WIZARD and be a part of a great team drop in to ICT 1 to discuss your idea.

The WIZARD team will be organising the first KIS dodgeball tournament next term so make sure you get your team together and start practising. Have a lovely holiday!

Meet the students who put together the first WIZARD of the year. Drop into ICT1 on a Friday afternoon and you’ll find the WIZARD team writing stories, researching articles, typing up interviews and working together to bring you a publication which reflects their interests and passions.The WIZARD team is the biggest magazine group yet! Ray, Kunya, Anni, Szilvi, Putta, Anfield, Jaa, Nana and Anfield have returned from last year’s QUIBBLER team. Maxine, Omm, Ployrung and Iseline have joined from Grades 4 and 5. The youngest members Genie, Fourth, Luca and Nicolas enter the frenetic world of Primary school journalism for the first time.

(story) Fair lady vs Lamborghini

A long time ago some people created two cars called Fair Lady Z and Lamborghini. They were very fast. One day both of the cars raced to be the winner. The car that lost would be crushed in the crusher. So the race was about to begin! The starting country was Thailand and the race would end in Germany. 3 2 1 GO the cars set off! The fair lady had the lead but Lamborghini was near. Then Lamborghini got the lead! Some people were cheering Fair lady, some were cheering Lamborghini. They got to Japan. The people watched on theirs ipads. Japan was very beautiful. Suddenly there were puddles on the track and there were some jumps so the racers must jump or the will be slowed down.The Lamborghini still had the lead. Suddenly fair lady got the lead because fair lady used the BOOSTBOOST but the Lamborghini then used the BOOSTBOOST too and was suddenly in Germany. Lamborghini looked back but could not see Fairlady because it was still in Japan. Lamborghini was nearly at the finish line but fair lady was just in Germany!!Lamborghini had won the race so fair lady got crushed and the Lamborghini will still go on forever!

Hi guys, back with the school magazine. I am Jaa and this page will tell you about dancing and some good songs that I dance to. I really like dancing. It makes your body healthy because you move a lot. I sometimes call it exercising because we move a lot and maybe you think it is exercising too. They have many kind of dancing. So many. I am going to tell you some and maybe all I am not sure. So we have yoga, ballet, pole dancing, wedding dance, kids dance, teen dance, ball dancing. will come out not good as it should be

If possible do it in the library with a friend, if you have questions

don't be afraid to ask your friend how to do your homework or

help each other do the homework.

Our school has lots of good things such as when we wash our hands the teacher reminds us to turn off the tap when we are finished and when we use the soap.

Sometimes the teacher tells us to use scrap paper first before doing your real work.

The teacher also tells us to throw our Rubbish into the trash can.

Genie's home tips1.Switch of the lights if you are not in the room.

2.Do not be a litter bug. 3.When you have brushed your teeth turn off the tap.

FACTDid you know that if you were in Singapore and some other countries. If you didn't throw the rubbish into the trash you have to pay a fine.

Grade 4 had the best field trip EVER to a toy factory!!! We separated in groups and then we went and see all their machines. We also went to their lab!! In the lab two groups got one mini car and the Hotwheels group got two! (improvise needed). Everyone in our class got a monster-jam monster truck. (picture of monster truck left and right.)
