Cleveland Museum of ArtEarly Learning Zone
Objective:
Create an interactive space for children to be placed in the Life-Long Learning Center, a brand new space being added to the renovated Cleveland Museum of Art in 2011. The Early Learning Zone will feature many interactive spaces, including areas for children to create mobiles in the style of Alexander Calder, learn about line and shape by drawing on wall mounted touch screens, construct ancient Greek and Roman columns, and sort and organize art into their own personal galleries. The project was commissioned by the CMA Director of Public Programming, Mike Starinsky, and is the first freelance project for Rucker Design.
