The objective for the project was to create a triptych of images in one photorealistic scene while believably photocompositing

characters into the scene to tell a story. Influenced by the FX series American Horror Story, the focus was to create a dark and

eerie setting with unsettling and macabre events occuring within the scene.

Inspired by music visualizers, this project conceptualizes what could happen if these visualizations

in the world around you, all while moving along to the beat of the song you are listening to (made

by the visualizer headphones below). There are multiple styles and types of visualizations and oer

modes as well (shown next page).

The visualizer headphones oers dierent modes which can be customized by the user, including intens

obstruction. These settings are useful because they cater to an individuals preference and particular sit

may be in while wearing the visualizer headphones.

This project revolved around a cover competition for VALE (Virtual Academic Library Environment) NJ. We were provided with the necessary text and resolution for the cover; the actua

required a triptych of images using only points, lines, or planes to create a sense of depth. One* of the compositions was submitted to VALEs Thirteenth Annual Users Conference cove

competition, which was held among several schools in the area.

Though it did not win that particular competition, the design was later chosen to be published as the cover for VALEs Trienniel Report 2009-2011 ( pictured left).
