Ons wil ‘n beroep op u doen as ouers om u kinders

“Youth” toe te stuur. Ons as ouer wil graag weet

waar ons kinders is en of hulle veilig is. Wanneer

hulle “Youth” toe kom is daar ook verantwoordelike

mense wat toesig hou. Hier word hulle die woord van

God in waarheid geleer in ‘n taal wat jongmense

verstaan.

Die duiwel is daarop uit om ons kinders te steel. So

dis ons as ouers se verantwoordelikheid om toe te

sien dat ons kinders onder die geklank van die Woord

van God kom. U is welkom om Eric enige tyd te

skakel by die bogenoemde nr as u onseker is oor iets

en wil net duidelikheid kry. Die Here het hom opgerig

as ‘n bekwame leier so u hoef nie bekommered te

wees oor u kinders nie.

Ons is nog steeds besig om te praat oor “Intimiteit met God.” Daarom wil ek graag die Gemeente “Challenge” om betrokke te raak by ons kombers projek. waar ons komberse in die omgewing sal uitdeel vir mense sodat hulle die warmte van God se Intimiteit kan beleef. Dit gaan nie noodwendig vir arm mense nie maar vir elke mens wat nie ‘n intieme verhouding met God het nie, arm of ryk. Jesus se doel op aarde is dat die wêreld God deur ons moet beleef. Johannes 3:11 As jy twee kleding stukke het gee een vir die armes. As jy kos het deel dit met iemand wat honger is. Ek wil regtig ‘n beroep doen op u, raak betrokke, dis die regte ding om te doen.

Ek staan langs jou bed en kyk hoe jy aan die slaap raak.

Soms het daar trane oor jou wange gerol oor verkeerde besluite en

soms sommer net omdat jy soos ‘n mislukking gevoel het.

Daar was dae wat jy seergekry het, dae wat mense jou nie verstaan het

nie, dae wat jy moedeloos was, dae wat pyn jou wou vernietig het!!

Ek het toe saam met jou gehuil; My hande gehou en jou kosbare trane

opgevang.EK ken jou seer, EK ken jou pyn..

Daar is tye wat mense MY nie verstaan nie, MY selfs verwerp, daarom

weet EK hoe jy voel…

Daar was dae wat jy deurmekaar gevoel het en gewonder het wat, waar

en hoekom?

EK wil net vandag vir jou sê…nie een van die foute wat jy gemaak het,

het MY onkant gevang nie. EK was daar en EK was nie verbaas nie. EK

weet alles. EK verstaan alles. EK sien alles. Daar is niks vir My oë

verborge nie. Ek kyk nie na jou met oë wat oordeel nie maar met oë van

Liefde , omdat EK liefde is. Ek ken jou beter as enige iemand anders

omdat EK jou geskep het. EK het jou lief!!!

What is a Father?

A father is a person who is forced to endure childbirth without an anesthetic. He growls when he feels good and laughs very loud when he is scared half-to-death. A father never feels

entirely worthy of the worship in a child's eyes.

He is never quite the hero his daughter thinks. Never quite the man his son believes him to be. And this worries him sometimes. (So he works too hard to try to smooth the rough places in the

road of those of his own who will follow him.)

A father is a person who goes to war sometimes ... and would run the other way except that war is part of an important job in his life (which is making the world better for his child than it has

been for him).

And, while mothers cry where it shows, fathers stand and beam outside ... and die inside.

Fathers are men who give daughters away to other men who

aren't nearly good enough, so that they can have children that are smarter than anybody's.

Fathers fight dragons almost daily. They hurry away from the breakfast table off to the arena, which is sometimes called an

office or a workshop. Knights in shining armor; fathers in shiny trousers. There's little

difference as they march away each workday. Happy fathers Day !!!

A poorly dressed lady with a look of defeat on her face, walked into a grocery store. She approached the owner of the store in a most humble manner and asked if he would let her charge a few groceries. She softly explained that her husband was very ill and unable to work, they had seven children and they needed food. John Longhouse, the grocer, scoffed at her and requested that she leave his store at once. Visualizing the family needs, she said: "Please, sir! I will bring you the money just as soon as I can.“ John told her he could not give her credit, since she did not have a charge account at his store. Standing beside the counter was a customer who overheard the conversation between the two. The customer walked forward and told the grocer that he would stand good for whatever she needed for her family. The grocer said in a very reluctant voice, "Do you have a grocery list?“ Louise replied, "Yes sir." "O. K." he said, "put your grocery list on the scales and whatever your grocery list weighs, I will give you that amount in groceries.“ Louise, hesitated a moment with a bowed head, then she reached into her purse and took out a piece of paper and scribbled something on it. She then laid the piece of paper on the scale carefully with her head still bowed. The eyes of the grocer and the customer showed amazement when the scales went down and stayed down. The grocer, staring at the scales, turned slowly to the customer and said begrudgingly, "I can't believe it.“ The customer smiled and the grocer started putting the groceries on the other side of the scales. The scale did not balance so he continued to put more and more groceries on them until the scales would hold no more. The grocer stood there in utter disgust. Finally, he grabbed the piece of paper from the scales and looked at it with greater amazement. It was not a grocery list, it was a prayer, which said: "Dear Lord, you know my needs and I am leaving this in your hands.“ The grocer gave her the groceries that he had gathered and stood in stunned silence. Louise thanked him and left the store. The other customer handed a fifty-dollar bill to the grocer and said: "It was worth every penny of it. Only God Knows how much a prayer weighs.“

A Love story.

One day, I woke early in the morning to watch the sunrise. Ah, the beauty of

God’s creation is beyond description.. As I watched, I praised God for His

beautiful work. As I sat there, I felt the Lord’s presence with me. He asked

me, ”Do you love me?”

I answered, “Of course ,God! You are my Lord and Saviour!” Then He

asked, “If you where physically handicapped, would you still love Me?”

I was perplexed. I looked down upon my arms, legs and the rest of my body

and wondered how many things I wouldn’t be able to do, the things I took

for granted. And I answered, “It would be tough, Lord, but I would still love

You.” Then the Lord said,

“If you were blind, would you still love My creation?” How could I love

something without being able to see it? Then I though of all the blind

people in the world and how many of them still loved God and His creation.

So I answered, “It’s hard to think of it, but I would still love you.”The Lord

then asked me,

“If you were deaf, would you still listen to My Word?” How could I listen

to anything being deaf? Then I understood. Listening to God’s Word is not

merely using our ears, but our hearts. I answered, “It would be tough, but I

would still listen to Your Word.”The Lord then asked,

“If you were mute, would you still praise My Name?” How could I praise

without a voice? Then it occurred to me: God wants us to sing from our very

heart and soul. It never matters what we sound like. And praising God is not

always with a song, but when we are persecuted, we give God praise with

our words of thanks from our heart. So I answered, “Though I could not

physically sing, I would still praise Your Name.” And the Lord asked,..

“Do you really love Me?”

With courage and strong conviction, I answered boldly, “Yes Lord! I love

You, because you are the One and True God!” I thought I had answered

well, but…… God asked,

Then Why do You Sin????”

I answered, “Because I am only human. I am not perfect”

opportunities to serve in My Name?”

I tried to answer, but there was no answer to give.

I have blessed you with talents to serve Me, but you continue to turn

away. I have revealed My Word to you, but you do not gain in

knowledge. I have spoken to you but your ears were closed. Do you

Truly Love Me????

I could not answer. How could I? I had no excuse. What could I say to

this? When my heart had cried out and the tears had flowed, I said.

“Please forgive me, Lord. I am unworthy to be Your child.” The Lord

answered, “

That is My Grace, My Child.”

I asked, “Then Why do you continue to forgive me? Why do You love me

so?” The Lord answered,

“Because you are My Creation.

You are My Child.

I will never abandon you.

When you cry, I have compassion and cry with you.

When you shout with joy, I will laugh with you.

When you are down, I will encourage you.

When you fall, I will raise you up.

When you are tired, I will carry you.

I will be with you till the end of days, and love you forever”

Never had I cried so hard before. How could I have been so cold? How

could I have hurt God as I have done? I asked God, “How much do you

love me?”

The Lord stretched out His arms, and I saw His nail-pierced hands.

I bowed down at the feet of Christ, my Saviour.

And for the first time, I truly prayed.

in opregtheid aanroep. Aan die wat Hom dien, gee Hy wat hulle
