Go to www.bunburyagency.com After busy summer holidays, it’s back to work and back to school. I have been contemplating some of the comments in my August editorial, in particular about being part of ‘The Sandwich Generation’ and making plans for the next 12 months. I need to make a plan to ensure my mother is well cared for and she can continue to live as independently as possible in the home that she loves. Time to stop juggling all the balls at the same time. There is a very informative download on our website www. bunburyagency.com called ‘Time To Talk’. Having just re-read it, I would strongly recommend a browse. It was not written by me but by professional health and financial advisors. There are some very useful check lists about planning for the future and the possibility of needing help in later life. So why not become a Bunbury Carer and take the pressure off the ‘The Sandwich Generation’. Our next Staff Recruitment Day is on 5th October at Bunbury Village Hall Details available on our website or call to book a space. So, some basic questions: • Is their house still practical? Does it need alterations? • Is there accommodation for a live in carer? • How much will a carer cost? What funds are available? • Would it be better to downsize? • Do we need advice?

After busy summer holidays, it’s back to work and back to school.
