Almost all the faculty members of Computer Sciences Department are satisfied on their evaluation by the students on NEON for respective courses taught in Fall Semester 2015. Some of the repeaters have problems when they are mixed with the regular classes. Students had a lot of complaints with internet speed. Some of the issues were sorted out with the students that were reported in mid semester feedback.

However, problems prevailed with the repeaters. Sana Hassan Students are not satisfied with my teaching style or lecture preparation. There are few main reasons for this.
1. They were being taught by very experienced teachers (Dr. waseem and Dr. Babar ) and they always compare teaching style and knowledge level with them which is obviously no match.
2. In batch 13, most of the students try to ask a lot of basic details again and again until they are not completely satisfied. It generally wastes time a lot, slow down the pace and

disturbs the continuation. If they let teacher explain in his own way it can help them more. It’s my style that unless student is not satisfied I don’t go ahead. But this generally made most of the students thinking I am not well prepared and making things confusing. I have learned from this experience that next time I should entertain questions only at lecture end unless it’s quite necessary.
3. I took around 3 weeks leave and this disturbs whole course a lot.
4. I should arrange more tutorials and assignments and quizzes must be taken more. Unfortunately my T.A for this course in this semester did not return assignments and quizzes on time and did not provide any help in arranging tutorials
I promise to work much harder for improving lecture slides, preparing much more than this time and arranging more tutorials and assignment , quizzes if this course is again offered to me
ME 101 Basic Mechanical Engineering

2. Course contents are changing again and again which was very difficult for me to teach totally new things which even I learned for the first time like fluid dynamics so I was not confident about those things while students already learned those things in thermodynamic.
3. Students were not properly shuffled in both sections. I have more number of students which are either below average or a very few were above average.
4. I encourage students again and again to take tutorials given by the T.A of other section but they never listened to me.
5. Availability of course books must be ensured in library.
6. Students found the exams more difficult because they did not prepare well.

My assessment methodology was based on more focus towards the conceptual theory so that students get expertise on applying the correct equations by reading the problem. Some important problems were done in class which is more related to daily life usage equipment and case study. Because it’s more easy to imagine and understand. It also helped to develop student’s interest in the course. Team play and bonus question was done to keep a competitive and interesting class environment and to promote healthy class participation. It also increase students approach towards team work.

Ayesha Bano I received a feedback of 85% from each section that I was teaching. Comments were generally positive. However, some students complained that the course was somewhat dry and boring.
I believe this was due to the fact that the course entailed a tremendous amount of technical learning of HR tools through lectures. Perhaps, this problem of the course being perceived as 'boring' can be overcome by including more participative exercises. This semester, I included three Harvard Business School case discussions in the course and one role play exercise. The number should be increased, as I have realized that students enjoy such exercises more than theoretical discussions.

It also demands a good knowledge of HRM practices such as recruitment and selection, pay, appraisals and training. The level at which the course can be targeted varies with the initial level of knowledge of the students, while keeping the minimum requirements in perspective. Thus, the level of delivery of the course varies with the intake of students. While the same topics can be covered every year, with a few additions/refinements, the level of discussion varies. through case study analysis, small group interactive lectures and discussions, reviewing sample practices from the industry and role-play exercises. Students were also taught how to analyze a case study to facilitate them for future courses. Greater practical knowledge was also disseminated through inviting guest speakers. A total of 6 case studies primarily from Harvard Publishing were utilized consisting of different countries ethical dilemmas such as USA, Hong Kong, India. Students were encouraged to professional present their ideas in the case study scheduled classes and they clearly showed their understanding and comprehension of difficult topics. Students also linked their class courses will the case studies discussed during their class, which was a marked activity. FOM Batch of 100 plus students were also provided an opportunity to understand the dynamics of Management operations through two Guest Speakers.

Course’s aim was to develop analytical skills, theoretical comprehension, responsibility and accountability through inculcating proper behavior and discipline. Through case discussions students also developed to tackle management challenges and maintaining consistent viewpoints. Students were also provided understanding of tools such as SWOT, PESTLE, BCG Matrix, PERT similar Project Management Tools, Leadership Motivation Competencies, Basis for Operations and Quality Standards.
