Intrinsic ATR Profiler App The ATR Profiler App is available in the App Store for you to download to your iPad. Follow these instructions to install the App. Installing the App

1. On your iPad go to the App Store and search Intrinsic or ATR Profiler and you will find the ATR Profiler available to Install. Don’t forget you will be prompted for your Apple ID Password in the usual way to install the app so please ensure you have this available.

2. Once installed open the App in the usual way and the Adviser Sign-in screen will

appear (see below).

3. Enter your Email address, the Password which is intrinsicapps and your

Name. Please note: the name entered will appear on the ATR Report you can send to the client from the App. You can change these details at any time by using the Sign out option.

4. Sign in and you are now ready to use the App. Once signed in it will remember

who you are and you won’t need to sign in again until you choose to ‘sign out’.

Getting Started with the App This app works exactly the same as the ATR Profiler you use in iPoS by taking the client through 12 statements and their responses identify what type of investor they are. At the end of the process an ATR report is then emailed to the client plus a copy for your records. It’s very intuitive and easy to use. Getting started couldn’t be easier simply following the instruction ‘Swipe to Start’.

It’s a fantastic addition to the toolset you have available to discuss an appropriate investment strategy with clients. Use the App to help the client understand their overall willingness to take risk, how that fits with their investment objectives and agree their overall risk profile. Used alongside the ‘Guide to Investing’ brochure the App will help clients make an informed decision so ensuring they make the right

investment choice, delivering a modern and professional approach to providing investment advice. Using the App Here are some hints & tips when using the App; Tap on the arrow button in the top right corner to reveal ‘menu’ options including

‘Clear & restart’ to finish. I really encourage you use the iPad with the client. In fact, I recommend you hand

the iPad to the client and let them use it for themselves. However, don’t forget to charge up the iPad before you go.

Make maximum use of the navigation gestures such as ‘swipe’, ‘tap’ and ‘double tap’.

If there is discrepancies with the way the client responded to the statements the

App will inform the client and ask them to clarify the position. For example if the calculated risk profile is balanced or higher but the client answers Strongly Agree to “I am concerned by the uncertainty of stock market investment” this position needs clarifying.

If there is discrepancies highlighted either tap on the statement to change it if

incorrect or add a Note in the client’s words to explain the reason why the responses still remain validate. Their reason will be replayed in the ATR report.

The Risk Description (see screenshot below) wording can be swiped to scroll down

and reveal the entire description.

While on the ‘Risk Description’ and ‘Potential Returns’ Swipe sideways to reveal the

tabs for other risk profiles aiding discussion with the client. Tap on the blue button to reveal information.

When reviewing the ‘Potential Returns’ (see screenshot below) tap Potential,

Average and Lower Growth buttons for an explanation to support your discussion with the client.

To select an alternative risk profile, following discussion with the client, tap the red

button to tag the client chosen risk profile. This will ensure the ATR Report reflects both the calculated and client chosen risk profile.

Create the report by entering the client’s name, address and email. You can produce
