contribution is immense to IIT Bombay Basketball.● With the rarest combination of serenity and fortitude, she is

Niyati Jhamaria : Citation● Represented IIT Bombay in Inter-IIT Table Tennis for 5 years● Won 2 Silver and 1 Bronze medals in Inter-IIT● Captain of the TT team for the last 3 years● She has proved herself to be the best player across all IITs when

she stood undefeated in all of her singles matches including the finals at the 50th Inter IIT sports meet

Prasanna Shevare - PG Passing Color● Winner of Silver and Bronze water polo medals.● The best and most consistent Water Polo Goalkeepers in the

institute team● An excellent breast stroke swimmer with bronze medals● A good shooter and aggressive half back player as well● One of the most reliable and senior water polo players in the

team

Abhimanyu Singh-PG Passing out color● A fine all-rounder, the team’s most dependable one. His

batting performance in his first year(48th Inter-IIT Sports Meet) was surprisingly amazing.

● He was the second highest run scorer in the tournament.

● His run scoring capability and his low run conceding bowling ability made him the the perfect player for the team.

● His performance in all the 3 Inter-IITs, he played, is exceptionally well which led the team to 2 bronze medals.

DHRUTI SHAH - FRESHMAN OF THE YEAR● She has been the revelation of the tennis team this year.● Won Silver Medal at 50th Inter-IIT ● She is easily the most committed and hard-working player of

the team & has nerves of steel and never lets the pressure get to her.

● A very significant member of the inter-iit women’s team, she was the cause of concern for all the opponent team’s, by beating their best players without even breaking a sweat.

Kaustubh Singh - Sports Color● Gold in Triple Jump at the 50th Inter IIT● Finished 5th in Long Jump● Secured 5th position in High Jump● Player of the Athletics GC 2014 by the virtue of

winning 3 Gold, 1 Silver and 2 Bronze medals● Currently holds the Institute record in High Jump● While he conquers the field events, he is also very

good at track events making him one of the most versatile athletes

Allen Anilkumar- Sports Color● Has been the leading scorer for his team in any

tournament he has played for IIT Bombay Basketball.● Won Silver Medal at 50th Inter-IIT● The maestro. No other player can match his game

fundamentals. ● His game is a show-how of what grace and skill

together look like. In short, The best!

Hrishikesh Kulkarni- Sports Color● Captain aka bhai of the team.● Playing for the institute since his freshman year.● Won Silver Medal at 50th Inter-IIT ● Double guard and a tall player at the same time makes

him a unique all round player.● Wonderful game sense and a huge experience makes

him the most reliable person of the team.

Devendra Dhaka-Color

● Devendra Dhaka , from a naive and overlooked spinner in his third year to a specialist left arm spin bowler in his fourth year, was the most successful bowler in the team.

● A keen learner who started from the bottom in his third year is now the pioneer of team's spin attack.

● He was the leading wicket taker of the team during Inter-IIT.● His performance in Inter-IIT Sports Meet is remarkable which led

the team to a 3rd place in the 50th Inter-IIT Sports Meet.

Archana Gulgulia- Sports Color

● Captain of the inter-iit silver-medal winning women’s tennis team, she is one of the best women player’s across all iit’s.

● She plays tennis with an intensity that leaves both her opponents and the audience in awe.

● She possesses a variety of strokes in her arsenal and always strives to improve on them.

● Her commitment and drive towards the sport has always been an inspiration for the team.

● She is a spirited fighter on-court and a fun person to hang out with off- court.
