Sign Up and make sure you tick Global Citizen as your area of interest
Within the next 3 days you will be contacted by an AIESEC representative. They will inform you about the date and time of their next Consultation. It is there to align your and our expectations
and to make sure you are suitable candidate for our Global Citizen programme.
If you have successfully passed the Consultation you will be invited to make the first programme fee payment (100€)
Once your payment is processed you will be introduced to an AIESEC representative from your university who will be your main point of contact throughout the entire experience .
Once we successfully confirm your final destination and the issue, you will be invited to pay the second fee (300€) and attend the first preparation seminar (On Fridays – 4 hours) where you will
get the opportunity to meet other AIESEC Ireland volunteers and get to know your AIESEC representative, who will be advising you on your visa application, insurance, flights and
vaccinations, and will be there to support you before your departure for your programme.
Before your departure you will be invited to our Exchange Participant Induction Conference (EPIC) which is perfect to prepare you for your international experience with AIESEC. You will be
given cultural preparation and leadership development tools. The conference lasts one and a half days, in Dublin, and you can choose one of the following days: 22nd and 23rd of May, or 29th and
30th of May (Friday 5 hours, Saturday all day)
Upon arrival to your destination, the AIESEC representative from the receiving country will be taking care of you, ensuring your safety and giving you advice, In the meantime your
representative from AIESEC Ireland will be checking-up on you and ensuring you are enjoying your experience.
Once you return back to Ireland you will be invited to Homecoming 2015 which is our Reintegration Conference to complete your volunteer experience.

There are more than 100 protected areas to visit. Monkeys are one of the most common mammals in Costa Rica – next to bats. The four common species are the Howler, Spider, White-Faced and Squirrel.

DID YOU KNOW ABOUT ARGENTINA? This country is less than one-third the size of the United States and holds such amazing things all within the confines of its borders. Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, is the fourth biggest city on earth, and Ushuaia, the capital of the Tierra del Fuego province, just may be home to the southernmost city in the world. You can also find the Iguazu Falls in the north of the country and moving south to Patagonia brings us up against another extreme in landscape, the glaciers of Patagonia.

DID YOU KNOW ABOUT ROMANIA? Transilvania means the land beyond the forest, and in that region you can found the second largest underground glacier in Europe. The 154-foot deep entrance shaft leads to some impressive ice structures, including spectacular 20 foot high ice stalagmites. The tallest wooden church in the world can be found in Sapanta Peri - Maramures (north-western Romania). Today Romania is the nine wine producer in the world. 11 indigenous varieties of grapes that cannot be found anywhere else in the world are still produced by some wine growers.

DID YOU KNOW ABOUT KENYA? Kenya is located in the Ecuador and It has only two seasons: One rainy seasons and one dry season. Mount Kenya (5,199 m) is the second highest peak in Africa and from its peak you can see the highest peak of Africa, the Mount Kilimanjaro. The biggest income generator in the country is coffee, followed by tourism. The official language is English and Swahili, despite dozens of other languages are spoken in the country.

Himalaya Mountains and represent the two major religions, Hinduism and Buddhism.

DID YOU KNOW ABOUT VIETNAM? Motorbikes are essential part of life in Vietnam, you can see thousands of them in the roads! Most of the shops give free tea but they might charge you for water. Coffee shops are very popular for hanging out and with the world’s best coffee brands, you are in for a treat. Vietnam is a socialist country but you can always spot high-end clubs and Rolls.-Royce cars.

learn English. Play sports, go on hikes and plan activities for
them, while working with a team of international students.
The camps are located all around Spain, near Barcelona,
Tarragona, Madrid, Sevilla and Valladolid.

DID YOU KNOW ABOUT SPAIN? Spain has much more than the sun, beach, paella and sangria. It is a country full of history, nature and breathtaking cities. In the South, you can visit the UNESCO world heritage site called Alhambra of Granada. This a small fortress built in 889 by the last Muslim emir in Spain. You will also be able to visit Seville which is a beautiful city known for the Plaza de España frequently used in Hollywood films. In the North, you can visit Camino de Santiago, a pilgrimage route across 4 different provinces and small towns. Last but not least, Barcelona and Madrid. These are two must-see cities; both very different but vibrant and full of life!
