Today, start-up entrepreneurs have created a new ray of hope on the industrial horizon of India. Pune, Mumbai, Noida, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai are emerging as centres of investment and enterprise. Entrepreneurial spirit is getting inculcated within the 4 walls of organization also with the result that intrapreneurs are managing SBU’s with a set of new skills, vigour and spirit.

In light of the above, MES’s IMCC is launching a 6 months IICA Certificate Program in Entrepreneurial Innovation. Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) is promoted by Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Govt. of India. IMCC is the constituent unit of Maharashtra Education Society (MES) which is having 155 years standing and runs 35 schools and colleges in 7 districts of Western Maharashtra. IICA and MES have jointly signed an agreement to launch this program.

The program is a fine blend of strategic business models, resource planning, project management, business practices and regulatory framework. Strategic roadmap and pitching event is provided at the end. I am sure, new-age entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs will immensly benefit from this innovative hands-on program.

Pune, is considered as the “Modern Takshashila” that is the seat of education in various fields. There are many educational societies and trusts contributing to this credit.

MES is one of these societies. This reputed educational society was established in 1860 under Societies Registration Act. It has a long standing experience in providing educational facilities from Pre-Primary level to Post Graduate level. The Society runs Thirty-One Educational Institutes in which more than 35,000 students are getting educated from KG to PG level.

Society has also launched India’s first Military School for girls and also Aayurvedic Medical College, Nursing College and multi Speciality Hospital.

MES has been contributing to the field of education for past 155 years. “FACTA-NON-VERBA” is the mission statement of the Institution.

IMCC is a premier Management Institute, which is recognized by University of Pune to conduct the programs such as MCA, MCM, MPM, MBS and PGDBM.

PREPARING FOR THE ROAD TEST

This course aims to identity probable entrepreneurs who are keen to define and carve out a successful and sustainable business for their career, society and shareholders. Understanding initial base concepts will help them to keep and sustain focus on the long term vision and objective behind formation and operation of that business. Investing time in participating in this course will help them to create and maintain a consistent vision across the team, and stakeholders involved in the business. Everyone will be capable to derive the core competence, the core product strategy and also outline the tactical strategies to build up the business response and business success for their venture.

They will learn about the business response system by creating the GO2 Marketing plan, along with different product line extension and diffusion strategies. This business response will be more driven by the consumer responses from the market and the entrepreneurs will be in a position to understand the length and breadth of the PLC and CLC. Post understanding of the same, the strategic management aspect ot the business will teach them to measure the business continuity period and subsequent other strategies leading to unlocking of potential post an organic growth cycle. The Course presents the finer aspects of business planning, financial modelling and creation of sustainability matrix to the entrepreneurs which will help them to address the unlocking needs and modalities for potential value chain integration for the firm and its products.

As businesses grow and reach new heights, it requires few interdisciplinary disciplined approaches in accounting standards, technical standards, financial and business standards. This course will touch upon those aspects and help the entrepreneurs to have a focused and disciplined approaches towards use of demand standardized key performance tools and powerful models to deliver the objective insight for making proactive decisions on spot. The business sustainability matrix and its potential usage methodology will also help the entrepreneurs to understand the benefit - realization process that would help both them and IMCC to understand the long term benefits coming out of the business and limit underperforming businesses.

Two batches will be held every year.Diploma / Degree Holders with entrepreneurial mindset are eligible for admission

1 . Interested candidates must apply through prescribed application form and provide requisite documents.

2. The application form is available online and with IMCC. Candidates must pay Rs. 750/- towards application processing charges along with completed application form.

3. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a group discussion and personal interview at interview centers. Candidates must carry their original documents during interview.

4. Only selected candidates will be issued admission offer.5. Admission will be granted after the receipt of requisite course fees.6. Applications will be scrutinized as per the eligibility criteria. IICA reserves the right to

refuse admission if requisite eligibility is not met.

ASSESSMENT AND CERTIFICATION

Key Performance Indicators

The course is delivered through classroom teaching and intensive coursework. The performance of the candidates will be evaluated through continuous assessment (25%), mid-term assessment (25%) and an end-term (50%) summative assessmentThe total marks and credit scheme is given on page 12.

- Continuous assessment (25%) will constitute of quiz, assignments and class attendance and will be awarded by the training institution.

- Mid-term assessment (25%) will comprise of a written test and viva.- End-term Summative assessment (50%) will comprise of a written test and

presentation. The criteria for evaluation will be on the basis of grading system such as:

A = 80% + B = 70% - 79.9%C = 60% - 69.9% D = 50% - 59.9% E = Fail

A candidate will be allowed maximum one more additional attempt to pass the course.

The Certificate will be awarded by the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs to all the successful participants. The participants scoring 'A' grade will be awarded with certificate of merit and an opportunity to pitch his / her business portfolio before a pool of investors.1. IICA Certification in Entrepreneurial innovation:

The certification requires a candidate to earn minimum 20 credit points in a period of 06 months. The credit scheme is based on International scoring system.

2. Advanced Certification in Entrepreneurial innovation:The certification requires a candidate to earn minimum 30 credit points in a period of 09 months.

In order to facilitate aspiring entrepreneurs. our faculty board consists of experts from industry who have excelled in standards of execution, team building, professionalism and integrity.

Our course will assist entrepreneurs in pitching their business ideas to prospective investors as well as provide a strategic roadmap to create a superior brand, which will reach out to the masses by exploring uncharted markets. The program will encourage entrepreneurs to seek resources within their teams to integrate across the value chain.

We integrate teachings of the most in?uential corporate and strategic advisors through workshops with acclaimed Chartered Accountant (CA)/Company Secretary (CS), taxations and IPR attorneys and Corporate Advisors.
