Identify Your Emotions

Below is list of emotion words.  Print it out and take a look. How are you feeling today? Circle the word(s) and jot down the date beside

it. Repeat this exercise once a week for a month, and keep this list in a safe place. Then the next time you are feeling especially upset

or happy about something, take out the list and use it to help define your feelings. If you are anxious, for example, are you feeling tense,

fearful or insecure? This list can help you find language around your emotions, which can be useful in helping you understand

how something affects you. —Rachel Noble
