Her role as Business Manager assist in helping our school is in a sound financial position. Mrs O & Mrs Stonehouse enjoyed a special morning tea last Wednesday before Mrs Stonehouse went on Long Service Leave. Happy ES Week Mrs O and thanks for everything you do for our Kialla Central Primary School Community!
The 2016 NAPLAN results will be released this week. Parents of students in Years 3 & 5 will receive an
individual report outlining his/her results. Please remember these results are a snap shot at a certain point in time. The conditions that NAPLAN is mandated to be undertaken are the opposite to how our daily classroom operate. Our school results are
posted on the My Schools website by the Department of Education and Training.
A couple of new cases of head lice have been reported. Once again please be vigilant with your regular checks and inform the school if you have treated your child’s hair. Thanks for your support.
Recently, I have noticed some variations creeping into our school uniform. Please ensure your child/ren are compliant with our uniform policy and requirements. As far as jewellery is concerned, a watch and stud or sleeper earrings are acceptable. Any other pieces are not permitted for safety reasons. Also make up is not required at Kialla Central Primary School.
Welcome back to Mr Nathan Neff who is here for his last week of his Principal mentoring.
Debbie Humphries Proud Principal of K.C.P.S.

KIALLA UNITED FOOTY ~ Round 12 On the cramped confines of a makeshift oval at
Mooroopna, the Southern Power took on Mooroopna
White eager to continue our winning ways. What
confronted us however, was a taller, faster, smarter team
who were ruthless in front of goal and dominated the
early stages, taking a 25-point lead into the first
change. Although the effort was better from our boys in
the second quarter, the scoreline didn’t reflect it as
Mooroopna banged on another 6 goals to hold a 63-point
lead at the main break. If not for the heroic defensive
efforts of Xavier Scott, Kyle Howard and Jack Telford
we could have been even further behind as the opposition
simply dominated. Facing an ugly defeat, what occurred
after half time was just amazing as our boys completely
turned the tables and dominated the third quarter to cut
the deficit in half; 3 goals to Jack Baldi and one to Noah
Smith, with numerous other opportunities, leaving the
opposition dazed and confused. Callum Ferrier was in
everything and Jack Hooper really showed his class as
our boys sought to achieve the impossible. It wasn’t to be
however as Mooroopna regained the authority in the last
term to put the result beyond doubt. Liam Mayall and
Riley Krake tried their hearts out in the second half and
our boys can all hold their heads high as they displayed
great determination and endeavour to fight out the game
to the very end.
Final scores saw
Mooroopna White 14 6 90 to Southern Power 5 8 38.
Goal Scorers were Jack Baldi 3, Jack Hooper and Noah
Smith 1 each.
Pizza Hut award: Liam Krake.
Sportsman’s Warehouse award: Riley Krake
Our last game for 2016 is at home this Saturday against
Central Black with Presentation day taking place on
Sunday at Kialla Park. With the spirit and fight I know
we possess we can really take it up to the powerful
Central team and finish the year on a high! Go Power!
U/6 SOCCER REPORT ~ LAST WEEK
Saturday saw Team Titans rack up another well-earned
win! Cody Tricarico was our player of the week for his
great defensive skills and commitment. We lost count how
many times he ran the full length of the field to stop the
other team from scoring a goal. He also closely missed
scoring a goal himself. Lincoln Pell scored 3 exciting
goals. Archie Kelly was close behind Lincoln with 2
great goals. Xander Telford and Tom Harrington both
played a great game. Well played boys! GO TITANS!
SCORE : TITANS 5 - GUTHRIE St 1
Player of the week: CODY TRICARICO

Congratulations Maddy on being this week’s winner. Maddy is a very polite and helpful student towards students and staff. She is always first to jump up and lend a hand! Now she simply takes up her certificate to the Shepparton Market Place store and she will receive a free Boost Juice.

Round 21 Wrap
On Friday night the Bulldogs took on the Magpies at the Etihad
Stadium. The Bulldogs and the Magpies were neck and neck for the
entire game with the Bulldogs coming out the winners by a mere 3
points.
On Saturday afternoon the Hawks had a comfortable win over the
Kangaroos by 39 points at the “MCG”. The Lions had their third win
for the season when they defeated the Blues by 4 points and the
Eagles had a 1 point win over the Giants with the last kick of the
game.
Saturday night the Swans after a tight early game got away from the
Saints in the second half to win by 70 points and the Demons had an
away win when they defeated the Power at the Adelaide Oval by 40
points.
On Sunday the Bombers had their second win for the season when
they defeated the Suns at Etihad by 6 points. That’s two more wins
than they were predicated to win. The Cats carved out a win from
“the jaws of defeat to win by 4 points over the Tigers and to complete

by 72 points.
